My guess would be for every one that walks out knowing what they are protesting there are 15-20 that just don’t want to be in class, 20 trying to fit in and 20 trying to get laid.

Don't blow these kids off. That would be a mistake as this might be the thing that defines their generation. We babyboomers had Civil Rights and Vietnam, Gen X had their causes like global warming, etc. These young people are quite serious and if the GOP really wants to piss these young adults off, treating them like children is just the thing to set them off. Just wait for them to stampede into the voting booths on election day.

Seriously though, the conservatives in this country are a disgrace to humanity. They believe any attempt to stop crazy people from shooting up innocents to be an infringement on their second amendment rights. Liberals could be like "We should do background checks for all sales!" and conservatives would respond "See? Liberals want to take away all our guns!" It's insane. And suddenly teenagers aren't smart enough to have an opinion because they aren't conservative. It's sick.
