Yeah, Blade Runner 2049 was my favorite movie last year. I will definitely watch. Isn't Joel Kinnaman from Suicide Squad though? My least favorite movie in awhile. Haha. Anyway, Back to Black Panther :
Very solid movie. Lots to work with in terms of Wakanda, which reminds of Zamunda in Coming to America but with crazy hidden tech lol.. Marvel always seems to cast the right people, rather than just shooting for big names, which i think is a big part of their success. Couple little things I didn't like, but overall very enjoyable, true to source material, good cast, and should play a big part in the MCU going forward.

Maybe its me, but "Annihilation" might be the stinker of the summer. Very slow developing, thin story line. poor character development. There's not much to like about this movie unless one really likes to delve deep into Existentialism. If that floats your boat, by all means go see the movie. Otherwise, avoid it like Ebola.
Ky kids are at the movie right now, Im pretty shocked they both went as my lil guy hates action movies, should be an interesting review from them later
The only reason I can think of why Darth Vader isn't on that list is because two actors played that character. JE Jones was the voice over, and David Prowse was the guy in the suit.
I had been seeing this splashed all over the tv lately and it looked interesting but after your comment and reading a couple of critics reviews I'll wait for it to be on Netflix or Redbox. When the critics make it sound like only really "deep thinkers" will like it, I avoid it.
That's fair. I just love Bane. Haha. Oops! Should have wrote Comic Book movie villains. I don't count Star Wars in that. Obviously Vader is top notch.
I've always been a fan of Super Villians. My childhood favorite was Galactus. Too bad the 1st attempt at the cinematic FF4 just f'd up the Galactus/Surfer dynamic completely. The 2nd attempt had Dr. Doom but they f'd that up so badly that if there's a God in heaven, there won't be another FF movie ever.
You woulda loved DCs forever evil event. Crime syndicate, lex luthor beating ultraman, and evil alternative lex luthor named Mazahs, sinestro cutting of power rings hand.... It was pretty great. About the best thing to come out of the new 52 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Doc Ock for sure. Also, a little love for Hela from Thor Ragnorak? While obviously very different, her story wasn't much different from Killmonger and to beat her, they had to literally destroy an entire planet.
Yeah, I think she's in my top 10 of villains. She was such a badass too, conjuring weapons. I hope she comes back.
My wife and I are slowly watching the special features from Thor 3 and what she was wearing on set was basically just a skin tight leotard. I would have been so hard to "act" with her in front of me.
