Exactly what I just said to my cousin. This is the natural result of defensive backs always going for the hit instead of the tackle - the easiest of plays (grab the receiver and sit down) doesn't even occur to him.
Could this launch the Vikings to "team of destiny status"? I am reaching for anyone to knock off the Evil Empire.
Early lines have the Vikings as only 3.5 favorites. Eagles could very well win. That means Brady would play Mariota, Bortles, and Foles/Keenum for #6.
Hey CJ I bought 1.5 points I was 4-0 this wknd ! oh and I had the Jags points as well as the moneyline !
It's not Brady vs the opposing QB. It's two whole football teams with coaching staffs. I think the Jaguar's defense has a good shot at really slowing down the Pats offense. If the jags can have success running the ball they could control the game.
Titans were second in league in rushing behind the Jags. Bellicheat loaded the LOS and forced Mariota to beat him through the air as he kept a spy on Mariota to prevent him from running. Jags might make it closer than the Titans but their Achilles heel is Bortles.
What an unbelievable play. IMO, that was the second most miraculous playoff game ending of all time, behind the immaculate reception (Which could have been an illegal play)
The Titans also had a dick lebeau zone blitz defense which bb and tb have historically owned. The jags can play tight man coverage and pressure brady with their front 4. I agree bortles is the weakest link.
