Forget the touches. Only 11 rushing attempts. When he gets the ball 20 times on the ground, the offense works, and they win. Clueless coaching by Reid there. Especially with Kelce going out, they did not do what works.
Stunning result it looked like a Chiefs blowout win early and at halftime. The Titans didn't look like they belonged in the playoffs. I'll say this for Tennessee they're not a impressive team physically but that win was a most impressive character win. Tough team they'll be a tough out in the playoffs.
They can run the ball, rush the QB, and Mariota can break the pocket. And they're tough. Pound Henry and pound the fuck outta Br*dy
I'd rather see them play @ New England next week the 'unknown' would make it a more interesting matchup but I think Buffalo will win tomorrow.
Towards the end of the Titans at Chiefs game, espn put up a stat that said the last time a road team won a game after trailing at half by 17 or more points, was the 1957 Lions who came back from to beat the 49ers 31-27, after trailing at half 7-24. If I'm a Chiefs fan after seeing that coupled with it being the 6th home playoff loss in a row at Arrowhead, I'd feel like my team is cursed.
Pats get Titans or Bills... I'll take that. Would have rooted for Bills if Chiefs won, but now I want to see the Jags in Pittsburgh again.
Well that was dumb. Maybe this'll finally get things going. WHAT THE FUCK is taking them so long to review?!
They employ the same defense that Brady faced against the Steelers. Bellicheat has seen Lebeau defense enough to find their weaknesses. The other thing the pats will do is make the titans one dimensional, they will stop the run and force Mariota to beat them. I hate the pats but Mariota is not capable of beating the pats.
Unfortunately the titans strength running game, is the Chiefs weakness, stopping the run. Reid needs to fire Sutton and get a guy in there that can help improve that defense, they have talent, they just need to do a better job of using those players. 25th in the league against the run.
