yes, I remember that. In hind sight Macc should have pounced on it. We'd have had Richardson -Harrison - Williams AND a free 3rd round pic (AND $17M per season he had to pay Wilk).

Ok so never was a big fan of $heldon and his attitude being potentially disruptive

But the BIG NEWS is we finally get rid of a more expensive waste Mo Wilk

Its a Deal with the Devil and you have ask yourself between these 2 POS who will be more productive, disruptive every Sun????

Yep, Richardson gets the edge here

So i am in for a short term deal that MUST include psychological counseling/anger management and the understanding that at first sign of team trouble hes out....make the $ enticing but nothing long term

Gut says give him a second chance

I would be down for a Sheldon reunion for the fact that we'd still have the 2nd rounder we initially got by trading him away.

Has he been good for Seattle?

He has been quietly effective for Seattle. Doesn't have splashy stats but has had a positive impact on the D line. On the Seahawks boards, alot of the fans want Seattle to franchise him if they can't extend him.

Eff this guy he's a cancer.

2 1/2 sacks the past two seasons combined.

    He's a nothing player.

UPGRADE the roster to compete for something BIG don't look to stay mediocre by loading up on a buncha JAGs.

His MO is to stop the run.. not get sacks. Sacks are just a bonus for 3/4 DE's.

You can't say he doesn't disrupt plays though..

& Where's the cancer stuff coming from? Because fans didn't like that he was beefing with Marshall publically? Never seemed to have effected the team or how they view him. Pissed coach off a bit but he stopped.. what's so cancerous about that? We can't just assume those kind of things.. We sucked anyway he didn't hold us back lol

I like my run stuffers up in the 320+ lbs range.

A 300 lbs or sub 300 lbs d-lineman better be a sacks master which Richardson isn't. He has 2 1/2 sacks the past two seasons.

He's a cancer the team moved on they should stay moved on this guy ain't worth the trouble and certainly not big cash.

Had off the field problems here and was one piece of the locker room cancer last season. With him being traded and Mo Wilkerson nearing the end of his jets career, I think we should stop trying to bring back players of old to fix problems.

Let's invest our interests, cap space, and draft picks in acquiring younger, hungrier players, or players with history not tied to the jets.
