No shit Matt... They shouldn't have had to share another ballpark with the Jints... F'n idiot ownership.
Are you saying sub par qb is the reason "Mr. McCoach at all costs" is having a hohum season? Sounds familiar... can't quite put my finger on it but it seems like I've seen this scenario before... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Perhaps Todd would be better if he had (arguably) the greatest qb of all time as his qb instead of bad vets and draftees. But that makes to much sense. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
But but Morton cant even call a time out correctly!! And laid an egg against 8 gm losing streak Denver....Oh wait, Jet fan logic, Bowles runs the offense, hes responsible. Promote Martin, fire Bowels! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Per Connor Hughes 'John Morton on why Jets ran so much late in fourth quarter against Broncos: It was time to get out of there..... To me that's coaching scared. It also indicates that Bowles is scared of losing by big margins because he's scared of losing his job via getting blown out. He figured he would roll over so as to not lose by 40 god forbid he called a few time outs, or go for it on 4th down. Scared coaching never works.
I just saw this as well. That's just crazy. Makes it hard to root for a staff that instead of fighting until the end feels like it's better to just get the team out of there.
Another reason why we need to clean house from top to bottom. Morton, Bowles, Mac and Co should all be axed at seasons end. Getting rid of one does nothing. This team needs a new identity and a complete clean slate at seasons end.
I honestly can’t think of a single game I’ve ever witnessed before where the coaches were scared and ran the clock out. Did Adam Gase decide to just run 6x and punt down 20-0 4th quarter against us earlier? No, he tried to get something out of his offense and make the score look a little more respectable. Bowles and Morton were totally fine with being humiliated with a shut out. Good riddance ...
Herm did it against the ravens after being reduced to playing bollinger at qb and he couldn’t make a throw, the line couldn’t block and some one was going to get killed. Tells you what they think of petty
Now I wonder if Bowles and company decided it was time to get out of there before the half when they ran the clock down with 3 TO's. WTF?
This is the final nail in the coffin for Bowles & the CS go for me.Him saying “the energy was good in Denver” to What Morton said above & Jeremy Bates when discussing developing QBs.. It’s as if Bowles has actually managed to hire offensive coaches just as conservative as he is
Quite honestly, wouldn't be shocked if Bowles specifically told Morton to run the ball. Bowles is concerned about perception. Do we lose by 23, or does it look worse if we lose by 40 but we tried to go for it on 4th down and actually use our timeouts. Bowles right now is concerned that blowout losses will get him fired but what he doesn't understand is it sends a horrible message to the fanbase. We know him as a conservative coach that cares about the margin of losses more than being aggressive.
