You should have rooted for the Ravens. Their success is essential to preserving the Bills playoff drought.
I'm not sure it really matters. Home Miami, away Patriots, away Miami left. they gotta win 2 outta 3 and even then they need help. I like the chances of the drought's continuance
speaking of Buffalo they got so lucky yesterday. At home in a snow bowl against a crappy domed team they shoulda cruised to an easy victory. They needed a bogus offensive PI call to negate a game winning 2 point conversion and a missed field goal just to get it to overtime. Then in overtime their coach made a bonehead decision to punt on 4th and 1 in colts territory late in the game. Talk about luck
I saw that too...that was as horrific a call I've seen in a snow game since the tuck. Side note: Tonight I'm watching the MNF because I got Brandon Cooks on my fantasy football team. I'm in the semi-finals and got a 2.9 point lead. The guy I'm playing has Julius Thomas for the Dolphins. I should get the W and advance to the championship game.
ESPN interviewing Aaron Boone at halftime is guaranteed to piss off New England and Miami fans. Which is why it's so awesome.
Ridiculously bad onside kick and Miami recovers it, so that's it. Rooting hard for Pittsburgh next week.
Pitt win, Jax win, and Miami win to take Buffalo down a notch would be a good weekend. I think Pitt and Jax wins would knock P*ts back to the 3 seed for the time being.
Thanks! I was barely winning then Cooks finally caught a ball for 38 yds and gave me a bit more breathing room. I won 100.9 to 95.3.
During the game, Gruden and McDonough were busy quoting Brady's excuses for his past struggles in Miami. Brady claimed the only reason he struggled in Miami was because early in his career, he wasn't used to the heat and the humidity. If ESPN had bothered to do any research rather than taking Brady at his word, they'd know Brady is now 0-5 in Miami in December, so that excuse doesn't hold any water. Oh, and Brady has struggled in Miami his entire career, not just "early in his career". December 2015: at Miami, lost 20-10 September 2014: at Miami, lost 33-20 December 2013: at Miami, lost 24-20
One of the things that really resonated with me watching the Pats vs Dolphins last night, was Kenyan Drake's phenomenal play. Drake is going to be a stud in the NFL. He's a dual threat running and receiving. Watching him stop and spin to make the defender miss was the best I've seen since Barry Sanders. Trading away Jay Ajayi was addition by subtraction for Miami. Props to Mike Tannenbaum.
