This time the backup linebacker gets a touchback on the kickoff!

Eagles go for it on 4th and 5 because of their lack of a kicker, and they of course get a TD on a great catch by Alshon Jeffrey. They don't get the 2-points on the conversion, but not having a kicker is still worth 3 extra points for them.

Eagles are good. Real good. Wentz seems like the real deal. All it takes is a smart front office to trade up when your QB is up there for taking.

If I were the eagles I'd never kick an extra point. They were, I think, 7 of 8 on 2 point conversions and they're 3 of 4 today.
Even if you're only 60% success rate you'e ahead on net points. Of course there are situations you take the 1 point but overall? If you're the Eagles and succeeding even just 75% of the time it's a no brainer.

Looking forward to watching the Eagles beat the Pats in the Super Bowl?

Everyone should go for two more often, unless they're so terrible at it that they can't even convert at a ~48% clip. Of course, no one wants to take the heat that one time they miss 3 conversions and all they'll hear about after the game is those "missing" 3 pts.

    I'm enjoying this game.

There are two teams I truly despise, but for different reasons.
I despise the Patriots for obvious reasons.
and I despise the Cowboys for having the audacity to refer to themselves as America's team. I know they don't do it so much now but I grew up with them doing that and i'm like FU...

so yes, I'm enjoying this game...a whole lot

The Giants have beaten Denver and KC as huge underdogs.

Meanwhile, their losses have included games with the Chargers, Bucs, and 49ers.

True, but we can now see that both Denver and KC aren't as good as people thought they were, and the Chargers were always better than their terrible start (losing multiple games because of a bad kicker) seemed to indicate. I think the only really surprising Giants game was them losing badly to the 49ers, which was truly embarrassing. They could actually win a few more of their games, given how bad the Raiders, Cowboys, and Cardinals look, something I am very much rooting for.

Already without Sherman and Chancellor, Sherman's backup, Griffin, immediately got hurt and is done for the night

And Wilson got picked off early so Atlanta leads 14-0

    Seattle is screwed

Seattle could've made it 24-20 at the half but they chose to fake a FG on 4th and 1

which I'd be ok with except the play began with 7 seconds left!

    nonsensical

Willson would've had to outrun everyone to the endzone and he's not very fast

Sheldon Richardson with his first sack of the year for Seattle at a big moment.

Walsh short on the 52-yard FG and Atlanta wins.

Not taking the field goal earlier and trying the fake really bit them in the end.
