That's why I don't mind if Rosen winds up with the Giants. Just how things worked out this year for the jets. Now if Bowles already had his extension, we might be looking at things differently on the field. In this case though, it looks like the best QB class since '83 so of course the Jets would choose this year to win enough games to screw themselves out of a top 3 pick. If any team were to be really bad, this would be that year.
Rosen is clearly the better QB between him and Darnold. I wouldn't cry if the Jets got Darnold, but damn, I really hope they somehow can grab Rosen.
WOW! What a throw by Darnold! Great catch by his receiver too. But then a dumb decision that cost them a chance for a FG to end the half. Of course he's a kid, but still, should've had better clock/game awareness - HEY! Bowles would LOVE him!
I see another USC Qb who owes much of his success to his supporting cast. I'm watching really great college WRs making outstanding catches on Darnold's passes at times. Rosen has been on target so far tonite. A few misses but for the most part, everything has been on a rope. Just what you need in the Meadowlands in the winter. The Giants should be sending McCown thank you cards.
It's so Jet's-like to have a guy like Rosen come out and they decide to win enough to drop them out of the running for him. Rosen's combination of arm strength, accuracy, and moxie are PERFECT for them, and yet he's not gonna be there when they pick.
You would have to wake him up first. Macc won't do squat. It doesn't matter anyway because they will both be gone by the time the Jets pick. Darnold may go back to school and Rosen will go top 3.

Yeah this is their M.O. That is how we got Hackenberg. Good first year followed by bad ones. Allen hasn't been looking good this year so it fits that Macc would take this guy.
That's not fair.. Watching the Jets and being a Jet fan teaches you: Humility - nothing to brag about... ever Patience - its always one or two players away from the playoffs. Just be patient, the FO/CS has a plan. See? Just look on the bright side of Jet Football and you'll be able to both follow the team AND live a nice long life.
Rosen will have to learn how to put air under the ball. Everything he throws is on a rope and they'll eat him alive in the pros.
The prospect of the Giants landing Rosen or any of the top QBs when it was supposed to be “our year” is soul crushing.. However,there may actually be a silver lining at least for fans who want a trade up or at least drastic action at the QB position;Woody gets easily irked by his competition for the backpages ie the Giants & reportedly has always been enamored by the QB position. Additionally I think the team realizes that the fan base has ran out of patience w the QB circus & that partially explains the empty seats this season All of these things sort of come together almost profoundly to which ownership will absolutely be dialed in.We can only hope that means drastic action w some means of sound judgement
