Jets have the worst CENTER play in the NFL today and it's trickling down to the guards

I thought Johnson was better than this based on last year's performance. I was wrong. Going forward, the Jets should give Dozer or any of the guys down on the depth chart a shot because it's clear that Johnson is not the answer. His performance this year makes him look like he's not even a good backup.

where are you reading that he didn't allow a single pressure? cause its wrong.

Go to the 3:00 minute mark of sunday's "highlight" video below. You'll see the Jets at the Tampa's 12 yard line right before halftime trying to take a lead into the locker room on 2nd and 10. You'll see Shell get burned easily by a rookie for a big sack. The sack cost us a touchdown and a halftime lead

qvale is much better because we can run the ball when hes in there. Shell, not so much

Winters at best is average. I do think he's better then his previous predecessor in Slauson though. Winters had an awful game last week, tons of penalties and such.

This is why PFF is sketchy, I think they gave that "pressure" to some other lineman and not Shell.

The current crop of college QBs have underwhelmed; maybe take a flyer on Mayfield in the 3rd or 4th round. I'd like to see the Jets sign Cousins, and use our first and two seconds on two O linemen and an edge rusher. Then use whatever additional cap space we have left after the Cousins signing on a cornerback.

Jets need FQB who can also rush effectively from the outside on ‘D’. I know it won’t be easy to find this beast, but...

I like shell. And I'd take their (PFF) word a bit more over posters.
