I will be utterly disappointed if they lose this game. 10 days to prepare vs a back up QB and no stud WR on the outside. Is Tampa still banged up in the secondary?
Fitzpatrick is going to beat us. Anyone who knows anything about the up and down circus of Jets history and the similar circus career of Ryan Fitzpatrick can see this one coming. It's the Ringling Bros. (Jets) vs. P.T. Barnum (Fitzpatrick). Fitz with 3 TDs, Tampa wins a close one late
Forte may miss Sunday...Funny, 2 weeks ago he was bitching he wanted to run more. Last week they did This week his hurtin' http://nypost.com/2017/11/10/matt-forte-may-miss-sunday-thanks-to-problematic-right-knee/
Hopefully it's not too bad, he can come back vs Carolina, and he can finish out the season behind Powell and McGuire at least. He's a nice option to have.
The Jets we know will lose this game. Opponent is missing their QB and star receiver. They are also banged up. Jets can get to 5-5 if they win against a weak team on paper. Here is what I expect. Fitzpatrick will shred Jets with 3 TD’s and Jets will lose the game by missing the game winning Field Goal. Now if we win tomorrow I will start believing in playoffs. AFC teams aren’t world beaters and the way we played this year makes me hopefull against a few teams on our schedule.
Yeah, if it goes like you say, then Bowles' 10 day honeymoon will be over and he will have to be fired in my opinion. It would show that he hasn't improved at all as a coach. This is a game he has to win if he wants to keep his job. Losing it would be pathetic. If he does win, it would give fans a little bit of confidence in him though. I think the Jets dominate, 34-13.
I hope Morton sticks to running the ball this week, he has a tendency to give up on the rush in favor of 2 yard pass routes. Bilal and Mguire should have good days if they are fed minimum of 15 rushes a piece. Last week the rush is what helped jets to dominate, keep it going this week.
Hopefully Stewart will be able to play, he injured his groin in Practice. Was looking forward to see how he did with increased playing time
The tip off is that we are Road Favorites...when are the Jets EVER away favorites????? Vegas believes in us )
I'm a big Bilal AND McGuire fan...they Can both take it to the house. Forte was a monster in Chi and while he's fallen off you can still see he's not done. I hope he recovers quick cause I think he can still contribute.
The media blah blah blah has gotten overly supportive of the Jets since Thursday Night beat down of the Jills. Smells like a set up to me. I will continue to have low expectations for a win to mollify the possible disappointment... Going fishing for Stripers until game time...GO JETS!!!
My only concern is that this is on the road and we've been crap on the road this year. Don't care who the opponent is. If we let them get off to a fast start could be a frustrating afternoon. That said ... 28-13 Jets.
I'm more concerned about losing to the sack of ___ known as Fitztragic than losing to TB. The shame from that would be much worse than letting them eat a W.
I too know this in my heart, it would be very typical for the Jets to lose this game. Losing to a 2-6 team you should beat with your old QB who done you wrong at the helm, totally crushing any hopes for the rest of the season, that would be the quintessence of what it is like to be a Jet fan. I feel it in my bones, it is so very possible. However, for some sick reason I am still holding out hope that this time it will be different and the Jets will dominate them like THEY SHOULD. A loss on Sunday will still crush me all the same, regardless of me knowing that it would fit the storyline of this franchise perfectly.
