We obviously want to try to get as much length out of CC as possible, as Joe just said he'll go to the bullpen before he goes to another starter. Fully rested Chapman & Kahnle. I'd like to get 1 out of Green, 2 out of Kahnle tonight, 1 out of Robertson and keep Chapman for the three outs in the 9th. Don't want to see Chapman for 2. He doesn't seem as mentally into games in the 9th when he's brought into the 8th to start the inning. Robertson worries me a lot after last night. His curveball was hanging a loooot and wasn't breaking as late as it normally does. It's important to jump on them early and take the crowd out of it and put CC at ease. 10-0 after Yankee losses this year. Tonight's the night boys! Let's go Jaaaaankeees!
Based on everything they've just said in em pregame they're only looking at getting an inning out of Keuchel. McCullers will be the second man in. Also said they're only looking for Morton to go through the lineup one to one and a half times. They do NOT want to use their pen at all if it's not Giles at the end. I've been a bit surprised that Francisco Liriano hasn't been talked about getting the ball at all tonight. He hasn't been great out of the pen but he's a former starter so he can definitely give them length. He's also pretty good in lefty on lefty situations from what I remember of him on the Twins at least.

I don't get it either. He's pretty obvious with it as well. A friend told me as long as he wipes his hand it's ok. I still think it's bullshit. His two seamer was moving like crazy in that first inning. About as bad of a start as possible for us. Settle down boys. Strike zone looks awful again as per usual in this series.
