Fins have 2 wins in a row including an away win versus Atlanta

If we don't win here and sweep it would be a setback vs a team we have already beat...hoping for the best against Div Rival

should be a tight game. Not expecting another ass kicking like the first game in MetLife. Toss up on who wins.

Stop the run like we did last time vs them and make Cutler beat us. It's looking like Parker isn't going to play so it should be difficult for them to move the ball.

This is a Season-Shifting Game. If the Jets win, they can continue their pursuit of proving people wrong. If the Jets lose, they drop to (3-4) and (1-3) in the Division. Not good for a playoff pursuit. I agree it won't be the 20-0 game it was in Week 3, but the Jets will still have an opportunity to win. Miami is a pretty bad team. The Jets are MUCH worse on the road than they are at home though. Currently (1-2) but the 1 win they were badly outplayed by the Browns for the majority of the game. I do think the Jets want to show that the TD call back did not get in their minds though. Should be good.

    Side note: Oddly on FOX.

I would expect a much different game than Week 3. Were not sneaking up on anyone now. And we usually split with them anyways.

Once you guys shut down Ajaye, Cutler won't be able to relax in the pocket, as long as you...

    Wilkerson either, btw.

    Anderson also.

The Jets could easily lose this game if they don't get their shit in gear along the DL.....

Miami's "bounce back" from their loss to the Jets in week 3 has been an odd one......

    - Their offense gets shut out against the often shameful defense of New Orleans.

    - A video surfaces with their offensive line coach doing blow before a team meeting, leaked by his escort/side piece. He resigns.

    - They beat Tennessee despite Cutler going 12-26, for only 92 yards and Ajayi rushing 25 times for a pedestrian 77 yards. ( I assume, when your defense is up against Matt Cassel, you can carry the offense a bit and sneak out a win at home).

    - They overcome a 17 point first half deficit on the road to Atlanta by scoring 20 straight, get the win.

I hope Jets fans and (especially) Jet players are not expecting the same dominate performance we had in Week 3 just simply based on those results alone. Our run D has been dreadful all year - save the first game against Miami. Duplicate that somehow, I think we win, but in much closer fashion.

Looking at their injury report, Parker still day to day with sprained ankle ( probably will play) and Pouncey in concussion protocol ( probably out).

They definitively have to stop AJ's running. That will give them an even chance to win. It would be nice if our D got some hits and pass knockdown against Cutler. Every time we put a QB (seldom) down in the grass, i give a big Jets.

I read that wrong. Early tweets had him in pads at the practice, guess he didn’t really participate

Gotcha, I was hoping you had some newer info.

Just saw on the Jets site that Powell, Anderson and Ealy practiced fully today

    No Wilk tho.

Will didn’t practice last week either. Think that toe is the big problem. Explains the lack of explosion

    +1

IDK tho. I read here that Wilk quit and Bowles is too stupid to know that Wilk's putting one over on him, and Mac doesn't give a shit anyway, and it's all inexcusable

I've seen every Dolphin game this season. Don't let those last two wins fool you. Cutler is awful. Absolutely AWFUL. They can't move the football, and could easily be ... and actually should be ... 1-4 right now. If not for a roughing the passer penalty that negated a game-killing Cutler INT, they lose by two TDs last week. Completely changed the game. The week before, he played as bad as you can possibly play, but Mariota was out, and the Titans offense completely stalled. I expect to beat them soundly on Sunday.

    I'm confidently predicting 24 -10 Jets.

Pretty sure the Jets played an "oddly on Fox" AFC game a couple weeks ago also. What the hell's the deal? I just poked around and couldn't find an answer.

I think the Dolphins are not the same team the Jets faced last time. Lets start with the weather forecast in Miami. The forecast is 86 degrees with 75% humidity. With the game starting at 1:00 it will be hot out there. This kind of weather favors the Dolphinss who are built for this.

The Jets are going to need to make substitutions or your players will be exhausted from the heat and there will be alot of muscle cramps. The Dolphins defense can be difficult and I think ball security will be very important in this game. The Jets need to establish a decent running game to keep the Dolphin defense honest.

On defense it is important not to let your players go into exhaustion from the heat. Stopping the run and establishing the run will be important for both teams. I would not be surprised if special teams play a role also in what I believe will be a low scoring game.

Good luck Jets fans, this may be a closer game than you think. I expect a competitive game where the winner will be determined late in the game.
