How’d it happen? I have no interest in seeing a replay.

Was falling from a rebound, landed on his back and his on his ankle which therefore twisted it around almost 180. Can't see any way his year is not over.

It breaks my heart to see this, I had high hopes for them and it's over.

Tatum is the only bright spot for me right now, I didn't know he had this much game.

I have to give Ainge credit for that selection.

they had a doctor on the air on what I was watching (some Boston station) and he thought Hayward could be back in March.

Sounds pretty crazy that it could be possible.

as long as there's no nerve damage, the bones will heal quickly then it's a matter of strengthening the tendons

I don't think they should try it with Hayward.

You can reset the ankle and the bones can heal but foot/ankle injuries are the worst in basketball with all the pressure put on them. It is simply not going to be full strength for a year and if you rush him back you risk getting him hurt again. They spent a lot of money on the kid long-term. If they are smart they will not even allow him to try to come back this season.

anyone see De'Aaron Fox play last night for the Kings? Dude is going to be a star. Knicks should've taken him ... give Vlade Divac credit, he's done a great job rebuilding that team ... I think they are maybe a year or 2 away from the playoffs.

Fox was my favorite player in the draft. That guy puts it all on the floor. He was selected ahead of the Knicks though

Yup, sure did thanks for the correction. Knicks should've traded up for this guy! Man, he was killing it last night ... this guy can get to the basket at will and gets his teammates involved as well. Very aggressive.

I can't wait to see Fox vs Ball ... Fox tore his ass up in college

Dennis Smith Jr looked good too ... pray the Knicks made the right pick, cause this rookie class looks special.

Probably the best group of rookies to come out in a while.

Hows Ball gonna do tonight? I feel he's going to be the guy that puts people in seats, but won't be the best player from this class.

I dislike that kid very much. I hope his $1,000 shoes causes a sprained ankle or something :)

He's Jason Kidd with hair, I believe he can pass the ball and set up his guys with a strong push up the floor, but I feel the best strategy against him is half court defense and force him to beat you.

He always looks to dish and I feel the same way you do, he is the least talented player from the draft but generates enough buzz to bring people in.

    What a joke.
