Sad very sad, first thing I noticed, basically a home away game for Patriots their fans and even more importantly their refs
Any tickets that are not Season Ticket Holders were probably bought out by Pats fans before the season. A great deal of STH's probably sold their tickets on Stubhub and TM exchange long before the 3-2 start. Just about everyone would have thought before the season that this game would be a blow out. Can't blame a ticket holder for recouping some $$ in selling one of the games they could get their money back on.
I take offense to the OP's thread title. The only thing pathetic is wasting money on a PSL or Season Tickets on a team that went into season primed for a 0-16, 1-15, 2-14, 3-13 record
The Patriot fans in attendance were more than likely mostly millenials from the NJ area. Last game I went to v. the Patriots, I mostly saw Patriots fans tailgating by cars with NJ plates.
But he has a point, every play that went for the pats was greeted by a huge cheer today, hardly a cauldren of noise to put them off their game.
Well, as you know the Jets are co-tenants with the Giants and as such, there's never been a real "homefield advantage". With the low expectations, its no surprise Patriot fans snapped up available tickets on StubHub or other outlets. Jet fans are for the most part a skeptical bunch and so far, they haven't really bought into this 3-3 squad. After today, there should be a few more converts.
All the Jets fans probably sold their tickets before the season starting, anticipating a poor season.
It was annoying hearing those Pat cheers but ya know what??? we were 2 plays from beating their ass: the Skrine missed intercep and of course the non TD was huge Those Patsie fans woul have humbled and wasted gas money for the trip back to Bean Town
