davis has been a stud here. he's playing on a probowl level so far. he leads the NFL in tackles and has 4 TFL and 1.5 sacks as well
I'll eat some crow here. I was excited when we drafted Davis, eventually soured and gave up on him as a bust, and thought trading to bring him back was pointless. I was wrong--He's been pretty damn good so far.
yup. he's playing like one of the bets in the NFL and outplaying lee as well. meanwhile pryor got cut from cleveland where we traded him after punching a teammate and then got picked up by jax and put on IR. and we got adams in his place who is a stud. upgraded 2 positions
The guy has absolutely been the best player on defense this year, and is currently leading the NFL in tackles (for what it's worth). Is it fools gold to bring him back next year at a big number?
Shout out to Demario Davis for leaving this shit show of the New York Jets, and now is part of the best team in the NFL: The New Orleans Saints. He has helped their defense improve and become a legitimate Super Bowl contender. I am happy for him and it shows that this Jets team does have good players, but it is tough for them to succeed with all the other crap around them. He has 76 tackles and 3 sacks for the Saints this season. Kind of reminds me of when Vilma left the Jets and won a Super Bowl with the Saints, though most would agree Vilma was better. Side Note: Avery Williamson, who I feel is an upgrade, has 89 tackles and 3 sacks for the Jets this year.
