If he won't agree to take a huge paycut in next year (more than half of his cap hit), just cut him. I know that we already have a lot of cap space to next season, but why would we pay a huge money for someone who is useless...

While we kill Mac for not getting us a whole lot in the draft and free agency if you think about it he's done a pretty good job overall

Kearse has been pretty good for us not to mention Sheldon was never going to be back here and we got a second rounder.

Ealy and Bass are proving to be good players off the scraps ...

Anybody miss McDonut the guy he got in return had 2 interceptions yesterday.

We all know our cast offs have not fared well in 2017 ...

ASJ makes the TE position somewhat existent

Adams and Maye are BALLERS !!

Our line held up very well against Suh and Co (minus the one sack Wake had)

Davis was all over the field ... sure Lee still sucks but I blame TB for that one

Skrine still sucks but played decently ...

ArDarius Stewart can ball and McGuire looks decent for a 6th rounder ....

Yeah Shell struggled with the speed wake had but he's been very solid otherwise. Also Skrine basically has been the other starting corner playing almost all snaps. It seems most the time Roberts or Burris gets PT if it's 3 wide mostly on the outside. Roberts played well taking some PT away from Burris.

Granted mo didn't put up stats but he was drawing double teams, collapsed the pocket a few times and was right there on Williams' sack.

Agree with all above & adding in last year's castoff pickup Darryl Roberts who played well yesterday.
And I'm very happy with Josh McCown, --- particularly his leadership.

After the first sack, I really didnt hear Cameron Wake's name, - so I'll give Shell more positive props. Qvale came in for 1 play & committed a penalty.

I think the refs counted it as a QB hit unfortunately (?) ... but the last 2 weeks, you can see Mo getting a push in the pocket more often. He's playing the role, we wanted him to play ... take on double teams and open things up for others. Both Mo and Leonard will start eating soon.

man Sheldon is over in Seattle BEASTING! Man he's so good, he doesn't even play on every down.

Snacks, man did you see LeGarrette Blount getting stopped by Snacks ALL DAY LONG? Pathetic Blount! He had a 5.6 yards per carry!

My hope is that these 2 can be solid contributors going forward and not just one game wonders. Brooks and Bass were literally all over the field yesterday...

I think Shell graded poorly according to PFF for those who like to use their grades as the bible...but he did neutralize Wake later in the game.

To be fair, Wilkerson hasn't done anything this entire season either, we may have just been better off dumping all 3.

i think mo's shoulder wasn't 100% this week, which is why they took him off the field on 3rd down. i still thought he played a solid overall game

it kinda upsets me that people seem to think he is a piece of garbage. he's not as dominant as he used to be pre-injury, but i still think he's decent

Yeah, but Mo is commanding and elite defensive end salary and has not shown anything close to the amount hes getting paid. Theres no way he will be on this team next year unless he really turns it around.

Per Connor Hughes "Saturday wasn't the first team meeting Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson showed up late to this year.

It's happened multiple times - at least five - this season a source said"

    http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2017/12/jets_mo_wilkerson_regularly_late_to_meetings_throu.html

The Jets benched defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson for the first quarter of Sunday's victory over the Chiefs after he showed up late to a team meeting the day before.

And that's not the first time it's happened this year.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Wilkerson has regularly shown up late to team's morning meetings this season. Sometimes, he misses them altogether.

The source said a combination of the two infractions has happened at least five times since the preseason. The Jets have a full-team meeting in the morning. When late, Wilkerson, will show up at some point during the team meeting, or just after.

The Jets declined comment through a team spokesperson.

Peace out Wilk, you have absolutely no place on this team
