We need this bringing up on here at the right time next year and who to sent letters and/or e-mails to.
Bump. Next Saturday on Jetlife on CBS at 11:30 pm they're doing a segment on Klecko. Maybe the HOF thing is gaining some traction now? They even have that blowhard pats* sycophant Peter King talking up Joe for the HOF, among others. Looks like some good film clips of him also.Thought I'd throw that out there for anyone that might be interested.
King has sung his praises for as long as I can remember. It's about the only bone he's ever thrown the Jets way lol For a long time it seemed like he'd never get in..but as you said, last couple years it has gained more traction & I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the nod next couple years.
U probably never saw him play due to your young age & R totally unaware of his many & I mean many off sides & lined up in the neutral zone penalities which most likely is his downfall with the HOF senior committee
Wrong as usual. I even saw him play in games the Jets didn't win, which means I saw him play a whole lot more than you did. I agree with you, though, one penalitie is one too many.
Actually his antagonistic relationship with the media and the likes of Paul McGuire and Steve Serby is more likely. Paul McGuire was particularly ratty and had no integrity as an announcer. As we all know they're a vindictive, ratty lot en masse often enough. Even if Woody had raised the VLT they still would be like that
I cannot tell how all the times he jumped off sides on 3rd down giving the other side a new set of downs
