Well the Jets went back to the past and signed WR Kenbrell Tompkins. He did some time with us before. He also put in a few with the Pats. Welcome, another target for our pi..p QB corps.

Great signing. Loved him back in 2015 (excluding the final game).

I still think of this play.....had he simply been facing the right way as the ball hung in the air they would have gotten into the playoffs on a Hail Mary ......and who knows how far they would of gone ....

It may not have been intentional, but I love your second sentence. It makes it sound like he was incarcerated during his time here. It's sad, but pretty accurate.

It would have been one of the most memorable plays in Jets history, and they would've earned a game against AJ McCarron while riding a 6 game win streak that included last second wins over the Patriots and Bills to get into the playoffs. The momentum alone could've propelled them.

Ahhh, so that's what each additional dagger felt like to Caesar.

Not a terrible signing. Should be pretty cheap.

That annoys me cause that game spoiled a nearly historic, un-Jet like run. Coming back against the Pats and Giants at the death to win in OT. Winning five must games down the stretch when they usually die. Only to set up for the ultimate Charlie Brown moment.

If for no other reason, at least he does a little nifty first down celebration

In retrospect, we really should have seen it coming

  15. I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand I knew the team was fool's gold & was not confident going into Buffalo week 17.Really wasn't that big of a shock once I got past the "here we go again"

However...a very similar run to some of the more recent Giant super bowl teams..and we know damn well if it had been them in the same circumstance, they're leaving Washington w. a win & a playoff birth.

Yeah, but that's the Giants and they have nice things. We can't have nice things.

This is what I hate about sports. Moments like this just refuse to leave me alone. I want to forget, but I just can't.

Watched it over and over. It was damn near impossible for Thomkins. The Bills D lined him up and put his helmet/shoulder on the ball. It was perfectly played. This is exceptionally hard to corral for any WR. Plus even if you do you are staggered and stumbling. Even if you catch and go down...game is likely over.

If you want to assign blame on this it's Fitzpatrick. If that ball had a bit more zip then Thomkins can haul it in at say...the 43 yardline and make an inside cut.

The Giants locker room is gonna be a ticking time bomb with Marshall and Beckham Jr...It wouldn't surprise me at all if they completely collapse down the stretch.
