He probably won't make the roster, but if anyone remembers the 2014 draft, there were massive amounts of internet tears shed when we passed on this guy for Jalen Saunders. We got him guys! Finally, after years of watching him thrive in San Fran, he lands with the team he should have been with all along. Moral of the story: crying over players passed on during day 3 of the draft is rarely warranted.
Was he out all last season with a hammy injury? This must be the start, jyst getting some of Kaep's former teammates so he will be comfortable on the Jets
And completely botched the tweet announcing it. Called him a rb and posted a picture of an Arizona rb that was definitely not him. It was so jetty of them
This guys got some talent--believe he was hurt running back a punt or kick--I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the 53.
yup, good pick up though, keep churning the bottom of the roster and something just may rise to the top
Definitely a good pickup, but how in the hell did they call him a RB and post the picture of the wrong player? Do they think all African Americans look alike?
More likely their twitter person is a 17 year old intern with wide eyes and the situational awareness of a blind person out for a stroll on a busy highway.
Probably true, but does that intern not work under supervision, and does he/she not have to have approval before he/she can post anything on the web? This is totally inexcusable. It's as unprofessional and rinky-dink as it gets. No wonder the Jets are a laughingstock.
If you've worked in any professional office anywhere ever, the very term professional is a misnomer for suit wearing powerpoint pushing imbecile. Not saying that's not what happened here because frankly I have no idea why this happened, but it seems more reasonable to me than because of a racist freudian twitter slip. Maybe that is what happened, I don't know.
If an organisation is bad, it tends to be bad everywhere. I can only hope the culture is changing. The attitude that 'this is just Twitter so let some idiot handle it and who cares' can permeate through into other departments.
I agree. I worked in a ton of "professional offices" in NYC for 16 years. I don't really think it was a racist freudian slip. That was more a tongue-in-cheek comment, kind of the dumbest thing I could think of at the moment. I wasn't searching for a real, plausible explanation.
LOL Sorry, I didn't look that closely to realize that you were posting the actual tweet that FJF mentioned. I thought you didn't like the signing of Ellington.
Slight edit. I know nothing of the guy, but I fall into the "doing something, is better than doing nothing" category. ... I wouldn't buy the jersey just yet.
