The neglect story will be picked up by plenty of the best guys if it's true. His play will speak for itself come camp time. We'll see what happens there.
Safe to say maudlin has the disappointing tag on him at this point though so someone needs to step up as an olb.(still)

I think Maulin will rebound this year. The idiots coaches had him all fat and slow last year. Now he's back to a lighter weight and with Jenkins having another year under his belt they can do some damage. The one that is the problem is D. Lee.

Less worried about lee than mauldin.i expect lee to take a big step this year as he figures out the game. Off field issues are concerning though

Rebound from what? He's done very little, including his first year. "The idiot coaches" hardly let him get on the field. I guess they don't see what you see. I guess those whopping 8 lbs. he lost are gonna make a difference...

He had more sacks in his first year than any linebacker since Abraham and Lewis. But of course you just want to make some lame lousy point. Maybe you think Vernon Gholston was a better linebacker. The idiot coach also didn't help the situation by playing a 290 defensive lineman in space as a linebacker. That was weakening 2 positions with one player.

Greg Buttle was much much better. I'd like to see Sheldon play some middle linebackah this year. Hopefully Mauldin has a longer career than Gholston...

In my mind, there is only one player that truly affects the future of this franchise right now and that's Hackenberg, so that's the guy I'll have my eye on.

The most important player on the Jets this year will be Edwards the punter. I am serious. With a putrid Offense and top 10 defense we will be pinned in our own end a lot so the punter will become a weapon and hopefully turn the field position and with our defense give the offense the ball back in better field position. Maybe we can punt on third down..... instead of being sacked on third and long. I really expect our offense to be awful.

I saw an article that Greene is trying to reinvent how Lorenzo rushes the passer. I don't think he's being neglected...

I read that too, wants his backers to be more physical and hunt lol. The Jets can use a lot of that. But the neglected part I read in Jets Confidential. It mentioned how Freddie Bishop and others weren't getting the one on one coaching from Greene that Donahue was.

Thanks for clarifying Booz. I guess Bishop is trash lol, but hopefully Jenkins is getting some good reps with this team. He's showed a lot of promise late last year. Can't just work on LZ and Donahue ....

Gotta throw Elijah McGuire's name onto my list of Jets i most look forward to seeing take the field. I love this kids style of run and potential seems very high.

Ealy too. Idzik was a cap space G.M. Maccagnan is a former scout & talent evaluator and it's just now starting to show. No GM can be 100% but Macc has built us a team that's extremely young & looking competitive.
