The question isn't whether he'll get better, it is will he get better proportional to the skills of players in the NBA to compete at an elite level?

Nobody drafts a player in the top 5 hoping he'll just be Andre Miller, and it certainly isn't what he's being sold as.

Not at all.. I used Miller as an example of a player that lasted a long time due to the fact that he was a team first PG with "elite court vision" coming out of college as they also say about Ball. And to Andre's credit he was a top 5 projected pick many thought was a steal when he fell to 8.

Kevin Love makes Al Horford look like a d league player.

I can't believe what i'm seeing. It is as if the CAVS are playing against a D league team.

So golden state is better than Cleveland?

I have never seen a playoffs series several rounds in be this one sided... you can't even be mad.

well if CAVS continue to play great D, shoot the 3 very well I think they'll beat GS by 20 every game. CAVS are on fire!

By the way the CAVS should rest their starters at this point.

The thing GS won't do, like every team in the East when it comes to the Cavs, is become defeated and allow the Cavs to get a good lead.... I watched a few games from each Cavs series, and every time they would go on a run and you could see the other team give up and think "here we go again."

I'm sure that is happening out west with GS.

I still think the Warriors are a match-up problem for the Cavs, but holy shit are they playing well.

And, Lebron is probably the GOAT, tbh.

Al Horford should just wear the Hamburglers mask next time he plays, he has done nothing to deserve the payday he received from Boston. Probably one of the worst signings by Danny Ainge.

The Warriors might give the Cavs a run for their money, but the Cavs have a better bench and the best player in basketball.

Durant will probably need to come up big in every game if the Warriors want to win. The big three for the Cavs are just a matchup problem for every team.

If Leonard was the only reason the Warriors were having a problem with the Spurs, I think they will get smoked this time around by the Cavs.

Horford has been the celtics 2nd best player all year... it's not on him he's leaned upon as their best rebounder, that's a personnel issue. Pretty sure he also led centers in assists?

But he should revolve his whole off season to being better against love, cus it's rough to watch.

I have been a life long Celtics fan, saying he is 2nd best player on this team could be a bad thing as well.

IT, Horford and a third big time player would still not be elite enough to go up against Love, Lebron and Irvin.

That's how I would measure their ability as a group.

Well can we skip to the finals now? Both dog teams officially don't have their best player.

It sucks. Lee was making somewhat of a difference. Now he's out.

    I think Golden State wins.

Anyway, will we have dual sweeps? Talk about a rare occurrence.

I would role with a team consisting of:

    IT
    Bradley
    Hayward
    Horford
    Rebounding/physical Center
Smart/Fultz/Crowder/Brown off the bench next year.

I can see that being a very competitive team for a long time, and even more so when Fultz gets some NBA exp and becomes a starter in the back court.
