They fired 100+ people who actually research and report and discuss sports. To compensate hired a washed out, never been anywhere, never won anything, never made to NFL former college player. Now they're splitting their most successful morning program. How does it make a lick of business sense? I'm starting to seriously think that maybe BSPN execs are not that smart.
I heard reports that they are also pretty much getting rid of sportscenter, outside of the 1 nightly show. Which makes sense because people totally tune into sports networks to watch two dumb jocks with like minded political opinions tackle societies biggest issues.
Getting rid of the SC?!! Wow, are they really cutting down? Now, SC has become useless a while ago. BUT... SC is their signature original programming; you're supposed to fix it, not cut it. It's like removing the castle from Disney World.
Sommers at 70 is just a pup; .champ's more like Bob Wolfe http://nypost.com/2017/01/31/96-year-old-sports-broadcaster-bob-wolffs-still-got-it/
espn completely devoured itself the same way mtv did and now is bordering on irrelevance which they will land on the wrong side of very soon
I listened to Mike and Mike for many years. Year after year Greeny got more and more annoying to the point I couldn't take it anymore. Good riddance. I don't listen to ESPN radio anymore and barely watch any of it's TV either. Shame it has gone down hill this fast.
Brooks has the sweet set up, he does hit some dead zones behind the big dunes but otherwise he's good to go.
