We knew this as well as we watched the Patriots bid us up on Revis, and give in to Wilk and then the Fitzpatrick debacle where the players essentially forced him to re-sign him. Smh Mac.
Like I have posted before we have a Rookie GM Nice personality but we have to live with his learning curve and Yes he may be an amateur negotiator Gun to my head I would say he improves over the next year vs TB the fraud Coach
Might as well keep em both at this point and see if they can light a fire under their asses and ball out
The interesting thing is that both of these guys were thought to be pro-bowl talents just a few years ago. How far they have fallen... I'd keep Sheldon for this year, he's still a beast. I might be willing to trade Pryor if we got good value back. A pack of gum, or maybe a microphone would do it I'd guess.
We all knew these guys wouldn't be moved until day 3 if at all. The hope was that someone would part with a third but there was no indication it would actually happen. Since the Jets are rebuilding the culture in the locker room, they should basically take whatever they can get at this point. That may be moving up a few picks rather than even getting a pick. Especially Pryor who likely won't even offer comp pick value down the road. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
