Rangers should handle Ottawa pretty easily, which means it will be a 7 game death match decided in double OT.

Seriously, the Rangers are too deep for Ottawa to match up well over a long series. I expect 4-1 with a couple of wins on the road to get things rolling.

I'm so glad we don't have to face Rask. The Rangers were jinxed against that guy!

Rangers are just as jinxed against Price, Anderson, Holtby, and whoever Pittsburgh throws in there. We can score enough to win against any of them

    Bring on Ottawa!!

it's great seeing Lundqvist finding his game at the right time, and the overall energy level of the team pick up.
I think they can do some real damage. Still need better results on the powerplay and faceoffs though.

there are no gimmies in the NHL, and even more so with the god damned rangers, staying grounded here. Brassard will score 6 goals aganst us this series just on principle alone.
Karrlson is awesome, im not taking ottawa lightly in any fuckin way. thats suicide

Rangers are going to sweep these guys, there's no chance this takes more than 5 games

I agree - They have good speed and good depth. No way does this series go less than six games.

Frustrating with 5 defenders in the neutral zone have to stay patient and utilize our speed, Guy Boucher is a very good coach

Don't know about this. Boston was kicking their ass the entire third period yesterday and they just steamrolled them in OT. They can flip the switch when they need to.

They're going to have to grind their top two lines into the ice to keep up with Rangers. I expect that to wear them down and a fairly short series but Ranger advantage in a long one also.

Agreed, but match-up wise, I think the Rangers style is better for playoff hockey. No one should be a pushover when you get to the Final 8, but it does happen sometimes. Anderson vs. Lundqvist is a good goalie match-up. Should be fun!
