Fantastic episode. I really hate that sob brother. Great acting, and great producing by Bob Odenkirk. I really wanted him to just beat the shit out of him. I wish the Mike story was moving faster, but I'm in it for the long haul. It was nice seeing Gus. Complete 180 from last week. Bravo

This show could not miss, I don't care if it has a few lull episodes.

The source material plus Bob Odenkirk, this can last a few more seasons.

One of the few shows that gets a leash.

Was disappointed in the first episode but the second was great. Can't wait to see where this goes.

That was cool seeing Victor pull out from behind the restaurant in the Caddy....

Nice catch. I didn't really realize that was him. He wasn't a major character, and it's been so long since the end of Breaking Bad.

Better Call Saul is starting to get BAD. Breaking Bad that is. I apologize already for that pun.

Won't be surprised if Gale Boetticher is resurrected and makes a cameo appearance.

meaning he was shaken by Jimmy's "you'll die alone" comment?

I've been waiting to see what starts Jimmy's transformation into Saul. That's what's interesting about the show to me, we know where it all ends up (at a Cinnabon) and we know about Jimmy as Saul, but we don't know how he gets there and what happens to Chuck and Kim.

Mike is just fun to watch. I'd love a show with just him, although the dialogue might leave a little to be desired. I loved the sequence last week where he was making his own transponder/tracking unit.

I think ripping off the masking tape was the start you're looking for

It just hit me. Is the part where Jimmy works at Cinnabon actually in the future from where the show is now? He loses his license, so he works there? I've always had the mindset that since it's black, and white, that he works there in college or something.

You watched Breaking Bad right? All the black and white scenes take place after the events of the show. (The future)

He didn't lose his license, but he can't use it.
Yes, it is in the future, after the event of BB. Gene ran away to not get tangled in the investigation. He can't practice law because he can't have his new name to pop up on the cop's radar.

Remember the vacuum repair guy? He hid Walter and Saul towards the end of BB. Walter ended up in New Hampshire and Saul ended up in Omaha, in a Cinnabon in hiding.
