i know this will probably be moved, but if possible can we leave this here? No one reads the fantasy forum. Two week playoffs in a 10 team league, and a little bit of a different format. Who do I start? I'm playing a team that has Le'Veon, DeMarco Murray AND Zeke so I really need to hit on all my starts. 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 flex (TE, WR, RB), 1 D/ST QB - Eli vs. Dallas, Bortles vs. Minnesota, Kaepernick vs. Jets RB - LeSean McCoy vs. Pitt RB - Terrance West vs. NE WR - DeAndre Hopkins vs. Indy WR - Mike Evans vs. NO WR - Golden Tate vs. Chicago Flex - Travis Kelce vs. Oakland (got me 12.6) Flex - Tyrell Williams vs. Carolina DEF - Minnesota D/ST vs. Jacksonville Bench WR Jordan Matthews vs. Washington (questionable) WR Jarvis Landry vs. Arizona RB Rashad Jennings vs. Dallas WR Tyler Boyd vs. Cleveland QB Blake Bortles vs. Minnesota QB Colin Kaepernick vs. NYJ Chargers D/ST vs. Carolina I'm struggling with West vs. Jennings and whether or not I bench Hopkins who has been pretty horrible all year bc of Brock. Antonio Gates, Eifert, Ebron, Ted Ginn, Tavon Austin, Robbie Anderson, Travis Benjamin, Cameron Brate, Ladarius Green, Rex Burkheard, Zach Ertz, Brandon Lafell and some others are all available via free agency for flex. RG3, Tyrod Taylor, Flacco, Matt Barkley, Osweiler, Tannehill, Bradford, Wentz and Siemian are available for QB's. Whatcha guys think?
Play Eli and maybe pick up Eifert to start in place for Williams. Either way you got the best in place already.
What do I think? I have 5 teams, who are all clinched with one week to go. This thread will be very interesting in a few days, so I'm glad it's been made.
I'm curious what your opponents team looks like. Seems like you have a weaker team for a 10 team league.
My opponent this week has: QB Jameis Winston RB Zeke Elliott RB Demarco Murray WR Kelvin Benjamin WR Demaryus Thomas WR Michael Crabtree (4.1 points) Flex Le'Veon Bell Flex Terrelle Pryor Sr. Seattle D/ST I finished 7-6 as the 4 seed, with the 3rd most points for. Myself and the 4 seed are 7-6, 1 seed whose team is above was 9-4, 2 seed was 8-5. A lot of parity and this was a lower stakes league we made in an arcade style setup with the double flex, no TE or kicked. Pretty fun style. Two week playoffs which I hate, especially against his runningback trio. One saving grace is that I get to face him with Murray against the Broncos, and Zeke against the Giants. Denver's run D isn't amazing but it could shutdown a RB any given week.
LeVeon carrying teams through week 1 of fantasy playoffs. Hope none of you had to play against him. Currently up by 3, he has Edelman while I have Brady, Malcolm Mitchell, Justin Tucker and Mike Wallace. Should be over unless something insane happens.
Pick up Robbie Anderson vs MIA & @ NE or Lockett vs LA & vs AZ over Boyd vs PIT & @ HOU or Jones @NYG & @ DAL? Week 15: I have Luck @ Minny or Winston @ DAL. The best waiver option is Palmer vs NO or Bradford vs IND. Do I roll with Luck in a brutal matchup or start a wire QB in the semi finals? D: Jax @ HOU over AZ vs NO? League scoring favors volume, so Luck is the 5th best QB in points per game. Week 16: D: Pick up SD for their matchup @ CLE over AZ @ SEA?
Can't trust Luck vs Minny and definitely can't trust Palmer. He has been the definition of inconsistent. I would go with Winston. For week 16, I would go with San Diego vs Cleveland
Luck should still put up huge volume. Winston has me nervous, coming off a terrible fantasy week against the Saints of all teams. Dallas also just shutdown Eli. Palmer is off the table, because somebody picked him up, as is Anderson. If I preemptively pick up SD for week 16, which D do I drop/play for Week 15, AZ vs NO or Jax @ HOU?
Should've listened. Williams had been pretty good. Made literally all the wrong starts, but even with Le'Veon's amazing week I'm only down 30 with a week to go. I'll still probably lose unfortunately.
I had a good feeling about Eifert against the Browns. However, my Eli suggestion was definitely NOT the right pick.
Guys need some serious help... .5 PPR -- Can start up to 4 WR in my league (3 + a flex). Right now I have Emmanuel Sanders locked in at 1 spot and Michael Thomas locked in at a second. Pick 2 from this last: Mike Wallace - vs Philly --> Hasn't scored in 5 weeks, but Flacco hasn't been throwing deep much Robbie Anderson vs Miami --> Has 20+ targets in 2 weeks and Miami is garbage vs the pass (26th ranked I believe) Cole Beasley vs Tampa -- Dak hasn't thrown for over 200 in 3 straight weeks Malcolm Mitchell vs Denver - Do I really need to explain this one? However, he does have 4 TDs in 4 weeks and 10+ in each week Currently leaning towards Anderson and Mitchell. Thoughts? Will help with anything that is posted
That's brutal. I'm also trying to decide between Robby (or Bmarsh) and Mitchell. I would look at free agency. That's what I'm doing.
There isn't anything on my WW. 14 team league with 13 other sharks. Best FA on the WW is Enunwa (who I just dropped), Ginn, or Kerley. I think I would play any of those guys over those 3 WRs.
Wow. Yeah some guy dropped Alshon this week in my league, so I'm hoping I land him for the fill in start. Denver hasn't allowed a 100 yard receiver, or many completions per game, so I think Robby is the better play, but either way it's not pretty.
I posted this in the other thread, but no action there.. so here it is. Please help. Here we go. I'm not one to ask for advice usually, but I'm stumped. Broncos d vs Pats, or Texans vs Jags? I do have Bortles if that matters. (2 qb league) At wr, Mitchel at Denver, Marshall. Or Robby vs Miami, or Jeffrey vs Packers coming back. I can keep going if anybody wants to be really helpful. Ertz or Brate at te? Siemian vs Pats or Bradford vs Colts in superflex? Farrow (sd) vs Oakland, Hyde vs Falcons, or Murray vs sd?! I'm starting to think about using my flex, and superflex on 2 of those 3 rb. Leveon, and David Johnson are locked in my 2 mandatory rb spots. Also, it's a ppr league.
Is that a question or suggestion? Neither are available to me. If it's a question, I'd probably go with Miami.
