You just don't get it. It just goes around and around with you. We get it. You think Smith stinks. Ok. But that doesn't mean Simms or ANY other unproven QB gets a shot to start. What did Simms do to deserve a start? Being unproven is not enough. Period. Especially when he has four years of terrible college film on him and years of practice time in front of the players who started ahead of him. For the last time, Simms is gone because the CS does not think he is an NFL QB. Can we move on to the guys that are on the roster?

So... in one NFL career he's looked worse than Mark Sanchez, Geno Smith, Matt Cassel, EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor... THAT'S why he wasn't given a chance.

This is why you don't sign a Matt Simms in the first place. He's on the roster and fooling you into thinking you might have more depth than actually exists.
Can't believe we are still talking about Matt Simms....however, I will say this much. Simms, to me, seemed like a gamer. Not sure how that translates to the Bills QB issues but I can think of one other QB in history who absolutely blew in practice but will be in the hall of fame....the late great "Snake" Kenny Stabler...I remember reading he was worse that horrid in practice...but.... Who knows...time to put it to bed. He's not going to help the Jets and it looks like he'll not make the field in Buffalo either. Moot point.

Rex was actually pretty hilarious in the press conference after, calling it an NFL follies play and one of the dumbest things he's seen on the football field lol.
