boy the east is much improved this year as compared to the last few years, the balance of power is a lot closer now than it has been.
That's my understanding as well. Heard his problems in San Jose was that he was being misused as a 3rd line center vs. a 4th line winger. Last night, around 3:30-4:00 minutes into the 2nd period: pass wound around the boards, Tanner 'Broken' Glass takes the puck and clears it out of the zone....then falls down. Later that same shift, Glass take a pass along the boards at the blue line (heading into the offensive zone), dumps the puck in.....then again, falls down. Hate to admit I chuckled. He did have a decent rush and got off a decent shot in the 3rd period fwiw....
Everyone laugh at Tanner Glass however he's the only one with any balls on this team...had an assist too
Sheppard eventually will slot at center, 3rd or 4th line, Dom Moore can move up....I love Hayes but I don't think they feel comfortable with him on FO's in the playoffs

Zetterberg may return tonight for the wings, would like to win this one, like all the others of course, but the rangers blew the last game at Detroit, they should of won that game, take them out tonight! start the road trip right boys.
Did you also chuckle when Brassard clanged the puck off both posts of an empty net? That one play did more damage to this franchise than everything you cite Glass did all season.
Of couse not, it was frustrating to watch. "Everything I cite?" I made an amused observation about one shift. I'm confused, was that offensive?
One of their better games of the season. Howard kept Detroit in the game. Stepan, MSL, and McDonagh were all off tonight. It's scary to think about playing them in the playoffs considering all the obstruction they get away with in the regular season. Oh well. That's hockey. Play every night like tonight and they'll be playing games in June for sure.
Ahhh tough loss, but we were playing really well..Howard made some killer saves. I am glad we got a point for Cambot. He was fantastic. Yandle looks slick and awesome with his passing, our team is very good...unfortunately we got called for a terrible call on Stepan that we had to deal with 4 on 3 for THREE MINUTES. We did ok against them. Keep getting the points and play well guys!
