The hate for this move is ridiculous. This is a fantastic hire !!!!!!

I love how this staff is shaping up. Wonder who Bowles will pick for DC.

At this point, I don't even care about the OC position, lol (don't know what to look for in one after being wrong a few times). I just hope Gailey turns out to be a good one.

Correct. Let's not forget his steelers days and what that 2012 bills offense did. This is a great move and a great fit all around.

Definitely not confirmed. Sounds like Caldwell or Kacy Rodgers (Miami DL coach).

Gailey is one of those guys who is better as an OC than as a head coach. Most teams he's been on speak well of his offenses. I trust Gailey to put together a solid offense. Obviously his age is a concern, but I see no reason he can't be here for at least a few years. He's not going to be an HC again.

The guy has had productive offenses with Tyler Thigpen and Ryan Fitzpatrick. I like his chances to maximize our talent.

As a coordinator I think he excel. People rip him for his head coaching failures but he wasn't hired here for that role. I'm going to be positive about this move until I have a reason otherwise

chan gailey is a completely BLAH hire.

he was never a difference maker and i really would have rather someone else.

and his name is chan, what the fuck kind of name is chan?

So he's either a bum retread thats flunked out of the league in his old age or a miracle worker at the qb position with vast amounts of experience…

he's quite the divisive figure it seems...

You must REALLY like the Chan Gailey hire if you're first reaction is to fuck.... I think he'll be fine and all but this move doesn't turn me on sexually or anything. Now if we can snag a top tier starting QB for the future that might do it. As a Jets fan I'm pretty hard up for good football action after all. ;)

besides harbaugh none of these people were available.

hell, most have been out of the league so long it makes Chan's absence look like a weekend off from work.

I honestly probably would have preferred Quinn and Shanahan, but I'm still happy with this. Bowles was my close second choice. And Gailey just by name was pretty off putting, but it seems he was actually a decent OC. I'm excited to see what happens.
