Thanks CBG - yes, I noticed the price drops in certain sections (mostly behind the endzone). However, the better sections maintained their prices up until kickoff. Good thing you didn't buy PSLs!

Prices going down and oceans of seats out there below face,,,,,,,and the game is still a few days away. If the Jets don't win this week I can only imagine what prices will look like rest of the way ?

Define oceans? According to Stubhub right now they have 3,761 tickets for sale. For an 82k seat stadium that's not oceans of tickets. Two weeks ago they had 10k. There is no sale cutoff for hard tickets anymore since the Jets don't deal them anymore.

As far as the prices the market for the Jets is very odd. Cheapest pair of tickets right now is section 326 row 15 for $78.32. You can then get some lowers for $89 so the market for them makes no sense. Weather should be in the low 60s so that's not a major issue. For a 1-6 football team prices are actually higher than I expected but if the weather is decent and there aren't many good 1 pm matchups people will come to the game anyway.

Don't go there 337...it was established last week that oceans mean different things to different people ;) That represents 4.5% of the stadium to me. Sort of like walking into a movie theater and seeing 5 seats available out of 100...

    Pay attention class
Oceans 101 is now in session , I am your instructor and my name is Mr CBG
    Oceans =
I can call anyone I know right now and ask them
" hey want to go to the jets vs bills this week " ?
    And they might say
" sure but do you have tickets because I don't have any " ?
    And I say "
" I don't have any but we Can EASILY find decent seats in any section in the lower bowl in either lower end zone ! We can just about sit in any section down there and the kicker is we can buy them FOR BELOW FACE value !"
We will now take a 10 minute recess talk amongst yourselves .

You can find seats down there yes. Oceans means over half the stadium would be for sale.

I know you jerk off every morning watching these prices. Are you still bitter you sit on your couch to watch games? My father gave me the opportunity to go to Jets games my entire childhood. I still continue to go. Do you share that experience with your kid or are you a cheap fuck?

337 I now see that your definition of " OCEANS of tickets available" and mine are very different. You consider "OCEANS" to mean "HALF THE STADIUM " where I see " OCEANS of tickets available " to simply mean " alot ". What does it matter to you where I watch the games ? Does not change the fact that there are sure a hell of a lot of cheap tickets available for this weekend .

i am not cheap, i also will not throw my money at douchebags like woody johnson.

those of you that decided to throw your money at him like he was a 5 star stripper have made him think its ok to ask for psls and high prices. ticket prices went up 400 percent in some situations with worse sight lines, further back, worse parking, worse ways to get in and get out... oh but better restaurants to spend more of your money. and yes i do blame you bunch of dumb fucks for buying into this piece of shit. the rest of us said fuck you, we will save the money, time and stress and have found it very enjoyable to watch at home.

so go ahead, just realize that no matter how much money you throw at him, woody aint gonna blow you.

Just got a phone call from my cousin,,,,,,4 freebies downstairs goal line,,,,,,," no thanks "
Hey imagine that a frugal guy like me turning down freebies,,,,,,lol
Old school season tickets holders know all too well what it is like to get stuck with tickets and you literally cannot give them away when the team sucks ! Psl on top makes that an unimaginable pill to swallow !

you will never get your money's worth in any of these places if you consider that the dollar value of the food you eat easily comes out under $100 in the real world

for a regular season NFL game anything under $200 is a buy for either coaches or GHC

Mr Johnson,,,,,,hows that game day experience working out ?
It's going to be wonderful attending or watching these last 3 home games and seeing the stadium loaded with Steeler , Patriot and Dolphin fans!
Can anyone who was at yesterday's game tell us how many Bills fans were there ? Was it 70 /30 us or worse ?

No worse then normal CBG which is never very good. Just to many fans of other teams for years. Its going to be bad for the Steelers, could be an all time worst. got my tics on stubhub and lowered to face value just so I can dump them and get something back. Next year, if I go, gonna tell them to call me after the last pre-season game if they have $50 per game tickets available. I wanna sit in the corner of the upper deck real high away from those yuppy I go to one jet game a year douche bags or the 500 lb women and her boyfriend next to me that sleep during the game. I can't stand our fan base anymore. Down to 15% of the fans we started with in 1984 damm shame. Its like going to a Net's game at the Izod. Its disgusting but I still want to watch live football and not watch games on TV every week. Just miss everyone that left, its a sad state of affairs. Need Gate D back with boobs and bones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't notice any more visiting fans then usual, which is still way to many. What I did notice was a hell of a lot of angry Jets fans getting walked out by security (some were allowed to come back later). Normally I see many opposing fans that get escorted out but I didn't see any on Sunday but numerous home fans.

I hate the home games against the Steelers with their fans taking over the place. I feel this will be the worst ever with their fans in over abundance at our home stadium swinging their nasty towels in everyone's face.

Miami and NE fans will be a lot but they are never as much as the Steeler fans.

I was actually shocked how many people came to the game Sunday. I was expecting a ghost town for the entire game. By the fourth quarter it was. There is definitely something fishy with the secondary market these days. Get in prices have been about $70 and up for most games this season but lower levels are going for a loss.

This is the first year in the new stadium I'm actually happy (not team performance related). I'm corner end zone but first row on the aisle. My ticket prices went from $95 to $65 and across the aisle the price is $85. A lot of Jets fans with season tickets are near me this season. Ok not a lot but 2-3 rows of all regulars have been there which has been nice. The guy who used to lead the cheers by me hasn't come this season but I've tried to lead a couple chants. I got in late last game and missed the first 2 mins of the game. The people got worried I jumped ship and wasn't coming back. I told them I'd be there every week.

The rest of the season will be brutal. The Steeler game will be packed with Steelers fans. Reminds me of the game in 2007 when we were 4-12 and it was 75% Steelers fans. The Jets managed to pull a miracle and win that game. Dolphins on Monday Night Football will be a ghost town. The Patriots game I'm expecting lots of fights. You'll get college kids home on a small budget who want to see a game and are hammered.
