Just got back from it. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Marvel delivers again! Anyone else see it?
Not yet but I will be soon. This is based on the Dan Abnett line up I believe so that makes it even more awesome.
Saw it, had a great time...so much fun, crowd enjoyed it a lot. Soxx stay for the after credits scene.
I am so sick of sequels, but after walking out of Guardians, I couldn't help but wonder what they will do next? And was excited about it too. Not like Marvel needs another franchise, but they got one.
It sucks they cant use my favorite marvel character, Silver Surfer in this...Fucking FOX had to reboot that new piece of shit Fantastic Four just keep the rights.
Ha - the end credits are more then just Howard the Duck Great movie by Marvel, it exceeded my expectations.
Agreed! Great summer movie. Opened up to the highest opening weekend in August history of $94 million. Probably won't be broke for a long time. Good for the cast and crew. This was considered a big risk by Marvel, but it clearly paid off well. Hopefully they can meet up with The Avengers one day.
CGI is so good these days, I didn't think for a second that Rocket was computer generated. Just fit in so well.

Interestng you say that, I said the same thing about movies 10 years ago (star wars, jurasic park 3, etc ) but now they look fake as hell. I guess we will see how some of these movies hold up against the test of time. Its looks good on the eye now but once when 4KTV is the standard, HD wont look nearly as good.
