Yeah, I just heard that as well. I guess Miko Grimes can't act up anymore, haha. Now that he's gone, some of Tannehill's former teammates are lighting him on fire. Politely.
So they miss out on all the half-decent QBs out there...and they'd still rather be rid of him? Ouch. Wonder if Teddy regrets going back to NO. Who the hell is the QB in Miami at this point? Also, they have pick 13, so they'd have to make a rather sizeable trade up to grab one of the top prospects.
Miami is tanking for a 2020 QB prospect. The real fun is in Tennessee where Tannehill's presence will foreshadow Mariota's fate if Mariota doesn't step it up this year.

Clearly it should be a "Suck for Tua" type of year. But it's the Dolphins so they probably will use valuable assets to trade up in a very weak QB year to take one. Tua Tagovailoa is going #1 overall in the next draft and Trevor Lawrence will go #1 overall the year after that. Those are the QBs you want. Really all the Dolphins have to do is NOT take a QB this year and if they don't get Tua then try to get Lawrence the next year. There is not enough talent on the team to win many games. The starting QB today would be Brock Osweiler.
Eli Manning or Blake Bortles would be an upgrade. I can see them sucking for next years QB heavy draft or trading the farm to AZ for KM.
I am more convinced than ever that Adam Gase truly did fire himself. He knew the tank plan and said "I'm out!" Fitz will obviously be terrible for the Dolphins, but a 400 yard 6 TD game vs. the Jets wouldn't shock any of us.
