Yeah there were a rather alarming number of clankers by him last year in the preseason.

McGwire is a capable back-up to spell Bell. He has shown flashes - a good find for a sixth round pick. Cannon has speed but needs to pick it up this year. The Jets - specifically Mac - don't want to cut him but he needs to show a little more this summer I think.

We usually agree, but I have to disagree with you slightly here. Yes, McGuire has shown a few flashes, but imo a few flashes don't make one a capable backup. He has potential but hasn't proven himself capable yet.

Yeah man. It's 2019. Where people slap their own infants in the face with processed cheese slices.

Crowell has proven to be an ignorant, unlikable person and player. It's not snobbish to point this out it's common sense. Very tough to root for. But if he produced like Bell he'd still be here.

That will be a tough one to break.

But do we even want him to. Frankly I'd rather he pick up 125 yards and then be sat the rest of the 3rd and 4th quarters because we're up 30-3

People are now wasting cheese in this fashion? By throwing it on the boogery faces of infants?

    Miles Sanders from Penn State

And I know this will never happen with Bosa and Allen looming...but if they decide to trade out of the 3 the haul they get from the pick could possibly be used to draft Justice Hill. We'd be turning a lot of 3-4 yard dump offs into track meets with linebackers on the sidelines with oxygen tanks

Would love Miles Sanders. Not sure we'd be able to get him now with all the hype around him but he'd be what I'm looking for. I look at it this way. McGuire is a nice complimentary back. God forbid Bell gets injured the Jets would need insurance. McGuire's a good piece but not sure he can be the guy for a few games in a pinch. I'd like someone who can be the guy if Bell is injured. Still have time to see what happens.

You are definitely right McGuire is a nice #3 who once in a while in a straight line can just rip off 30-40 yards due to his insane speed. But between the tackles or regular carries he's just nothing special. Nothing that can be depended upon. In the past having a Jordan, Greene, Hector made such a huge difference. That 2nd complimentary guy just helps to wear a defense out.

What is funnier, cheese slice in the face or baby sucking a lemon?
