Wonder if CLE plans on keeping him or dangling him like we did Teddy. The landing spot makes sense tho. He's from Cleveland & Dorsey did draft him.

Best part about this is the delusions of the Jets signing him can finally end.

Kareem might not even be playing football this season. He is on the exempt list right now.

well someone should tell Friar McCagnan that he is employed with the goal of winning football games, not community building. They should also remind him that he has numerous shitbags already on the roster

I'm gonna try not to shit on the Jets here, but does it seem the Browns are far more aggressive when it comes to roster building than the Jets? Looking at both teams, seems the Browns are far more prepared to be a win now team and actually do it. Macc I guess is going to take his usual methodical approach and sign mediocre guys who may or may not become serviceable NFL backups.

IF you believe Sam Darnold will be a "franchise QB", and I think most of us do, then imagine the possibilities with a franchise QB and a franchise RB- Kareem Hunt, both on contracts well under market value for years. You already have your QB and stud playmaker and 100s of millions to spend elsewhere. Build a wall offensive line if you want! throw everything at a game changing pass rusher, you can do it all.

    such a missed opportunity

He might not play in 10 to 12 games according to Schefter.

I don't want any domestic abusers on this team. I don't care if they are the greatest player of all time. There are certain lines you don't cross, and that is one of them, IMO.

    You wanna cut Quincy Enunwa?

Friar McCagnan made the big move for Brandon Marshall, that must've really pissed you off

Quincy's charge was never proved in court and was dismissed. Brandon Marshall's were related to his mental problems and I thought those charges were dismissed as well. I can't remember much about the Brandon Marshall incidents except that he is a known bipolar and has since gotten much mental help.

With Hunt, there is a video showing him kicking a woman on the floor, so there is no denying it. Plus he may not even play a game next year. There are better options.

I'm not opposed to giving people 2nd chances, but this incident just happened last year and there is no reason to assume he's gotten mental help since then.

Kareem Hunt's charge was never proven in court either. Hell, he wasn't even charged.

I'm gonna roll my eyes over the Marshall excuse. His transgressions were way worse than Hunts

i would have loved to sign him. i think the chiefs have a better shot winning with him. i think he got released because people are all of a sudden way over sensitive about certain things. i believe in letting the courts decide.

He got released because there's a video. And once there's a video you have to openly admit you care more about winning games than being noble, which few executives are willing to do.

It isn't quite like that. Hunt will miss a bunch of games this year and be an RFA next year. If he acts up again he'll be kicked out of the league. If not it'll be more "acceptable" to have him so teams will make qualifying offers. Which means he'll get paid but if the Browns don't want to pay him they'll get a pick for letting him go.

Enunwa was accused of pulling a woman off a bed, and she dropped the charges.
    Hasn't been an issue since.

It's laughable to compare the two situations.

If he's gonna miss most of next season, then passing on him was the right move. Try to sign Bell or draft one of Snell, Montgomery, Harris, etc..... Heck, do both as Powell is 30 and Crowell is not the answer.
