Nice play from Mayfield to Callaway. I know he has off-field issues but he's making a statement on the field tonight.

I hope Sam is watching and knows he has to come out slinging too.

Wow! Baker looks great. May have been wrong about him.

His deep ball is definitely better than Darnolda right now.

    I jumped the gun.

Baker Mayfield has looked as good as a 1st round pick could look during his first ever preseason test.

Impressed with Allen tonight as well. Made some nice plays despite terrible protection.

To be quite frank I couldn't care less about Mayfield or Rosen. Although it is very fun to follow these Rookies.

I do care about Darnold & Allen. Darnold as our guy & Allen being in our division.

If not for his end game TD Josh Allen looked bad. That TD saved his night.

And the preseason king Bryce Petty just led Miami for a TD and converted a potential game winning two point conversion.

    Ahhhh football is back!

Holy shit at this depth chart.

    Tannehill
    Osweiler
    Petty

The QB film sessions are just Gase sobbing for 45 minutes then returning to his office.

    eh. Callaway certainly did.

Watching this game, basically looked like a couple of 5-11, 6-10 type teams

And God help the Giants if something happens to Eli. We could seriously consider training Bridgewater to them and give them a real backup

My boy Saquon looked electric during limited time only took him a couple of runs to break off a 40 yarder. Awesome patience amazing field vision and best size speed and power trio since AP.

I thought Allen looked OK. He was playing with the backups as McCarron and Peterman(both played well tonight) were playing with the 1's and 2's. Lets hope Darnold gets off to a good start tomorrow. Glad football is back although the Yanks have kept baseball interesting in the meantime.

Agreed, the running game was doing almost nothing and Mayfield had to convert multiple 3rd and longs with his feet. I thought he looked decent for being that raw and being expected to take a year to develop. He out played the other rookie QBs so far at least. We'll see what Rosen and Darnold do.

    I think Allen was 9/19.

Another way to look at it is he had a real nice run to start then averaged two and a half feet per carry for the rest of his night.

YouTube has taken over for sports. Instant highlights. Can literally type in any high profile rookies name and see "every play highlights" of their first rookie game. Pretty neat.

So far all of the rookie QBs have impressed in the preseason. Darnold is up next.

That dude Callaway is a monster though. Browns got tons of weapons.

When are you ever wrong? In other NFL pre-season games, this Tanner Lee review from Big Cat Country (Jaguars) website:

    https://www.bigcatcountry.com/2018/...-who-stood-out-in-24-20-preseason-opener-loss
    Tanner Lee:
Lee stood out, but in a very bad way. He stunk out loud tonight. He was 4-for-8 for 37 yards, one turnover, and five sacks. He had more sacks than completions. It was worse than you could have possibly imagined. I don’t want to overreact, but he should be in prison.

Tanner Lee, the guy you said was "the best QB prospect in the 2018 draft." Now why am I belaboring the point? Because you can't help being a troll with the "definitely better than Darnold" comment that's why.

You not only do a 180-degree about face regarding Mayfield you needlessly take it the extra yard with the Darnold comment.

If calling you a moosecock-sucking troll wouldn’t get me banned I would call you a moosecock-sucking troll.

Did he really talk up Tanner Lee pre-draft? As the best QB of 2018's class? Wow. Pretty pathetic if so.

He had a good first run and then gained 4 yds total on his next 3 carries. Let's hold off on ordering the gold jacket.
