Sangria and Margarita in our household but I agree. Thanks to all of those who founded this great country and served to protect it.

Three U.S. Presidents kicked the pail on July 4th: John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Monroe. Just thought I'd throw that out there for the fun history factor.

    Happy 4th of July everyone.

Especially the hard core grillers, grilling in THIS SWELTERING HEAT. Kudos to you all.

[I stayed outside for barely 15 minutes. I couldn't stand the heat. I had to retreat inside. :D]

A little late but we smoked a brisket and a turkey for our party. The brisket recipe was pretty difficult - two different custom dry rubs, custom bbq sauce, custom marinade, injection and then 13 hours of cooking in and out of foil, in a cooler for a couple hours, fuck. The Turkey was a simple injection of italian dressing and a store bought dry rub. Turkey tasted better to me smh.

I drank at least a dozen Coors banquets in the desert. The young ins grilled up a few nice rib-eyes. In bed by 9:30.

    I’ll take it.
