Good job Brook - I thought his trollish behavior was way over the line, even after repeated warnings from you.
Giants made a huge mistake, imho. Running backs are a dime a dozen and don't have long careers. I realize he is very good but it's so hard to be in a position to draft a true franchise changing prospect like the Jets did. Barkley is often compared to Peterson or at least the best since Peterson but if you look at Peterson's history he had 7, maybe 8 good seasons with the Vikings. A good QB can you get double that.
And during those 7 years in which he rushed for more than 1000 yards (actually more than 1200) the Vikings averaged a record of about 9-7, thanks to generally mediocre-at-best QB play.
You repeatedly keep referring to this as an "incredibly poor season" : Attmpts: 480 Comp: .303 Pct. %: 63.3 Yards: .4,143 (over 1,000 yard increase over his 'great' 2016 season) Yds gm: 295.9 TDs: . 26 Ints: . 13 Rush ave: 5.9 Rush TDs: 5 QB RATING: 148.1 Putting up 300 yards per game, a 2-to-1 TD/Int ratio, over 4,000 yards passing and a QB rating of 148.1. You're not only stupid shitstain01, .you can't troll for shit. .
I agree, thanks Brook. Shasta01 seemed to be here just to deride Jet fans and spout off incorrect facts. Although he didn't harass any particular poster, his condescending attitude was not welcomed. I don't mind Patriot fans like CJLang, Patriot - although his Patriot/Jet fandom is a little weird , and others who post here, but IMHO Shasta01 was only on this site to feel superior because the Patriots have been a better franchise than the Jets over the last 17 years.
I used the college passer rating for Darnold's 2017 season because Darnold played for Southern Cal in 2017. . Crazy me. .
I always scratch my head when fans are more concerned with who other teams like over what their team likes. Who has Elway drafted at QB that makes you think he has a clue about young QBs? Or Gettleman?
elway has missed on more QBs then mac with higher picks. fans see things in a funny way. gettleman was terrible with carolina and didn't last long and already had a franchise QB so never had to draft one
Exactly. Had a debate with someone who believe no one should doubt a HOF, SB winning QB. Called him a QB whisperer. He drafted Osweiler, Semien and traded up for Lynch. He brought in Sanchez of all people and now has all his eggs in a short, weak armed, game managing QB. But we should worry about who he did or didn't like.
the simian one TBH wasn't a bad pick. he's done more then you could expect form a 7th round QB. osweiler was a huge swing and miss as was lynch and they were 1st/2nd round picks. since joining the broncos here are all the QBs he drafted in order 2011 none 2012 oswiler 2nd round 2013 dysert 7th round 2014 none 2015 siemian 7th round 2016 lynch 1st round 2017 kelly 7th round 2018 none if that was mac after 8 years of drafts not landing on a single QB including using a 1st and 2nd rounder, people here would call for his head. it's hard to knock any of the 7th rounders, but one has to ask what has he done to address the QB issue. they still don't have a FQB and never had one his whole tenure. he got a couple of good years from an old peyton manning and now this year passed on rosen and allen and are relying on a journeyman 30 year old in keenum with nobody for the future on the roster
