It's a joke. Then you can prove you're a football guy, or a justified angry suffering.... whatever.

The dude came out when he was a kid, made a Pro Bowl, and is about to come into his own and be a fuckin stalwart. He's about to become only 24 yrs old.

But he's not a star on Madden! Boo fucking hoo! When the clueless writers catch on the resident experts will then too.

Other than the QBs he was the best player in the draft.

    Yep, common knowledge.

There's a nice positive piece about him, and we may have nabbed that elusive FQB but let's wallow in misery just in case

Leo was markedly better whenever Wilkerson was off the field. Curious to see if he can play like that all the time with the fat bum off to Green Bay.

The big cat was neutered last season, he was practically invisible in 75 percent of the games, the pressure stats were good but I really can't remember him getting near the QB nearly as much as he was given credit for, old Mac paid off the statkeeper for sure

Just a question, but does he personally go by Leonard or Leo?

You need to watch the actual games, he wasn't invisible for 75% of the games.

"Over the past two seasons, Williams has notched 37 combined sacks and hits, and among interior defenders, only Aaron Donald has more."

I'm not sure what more you want out of him. Then again, i'm not sure your even watching the games.

People mad that we didn't get Vic Beasley, well I have to argue Leonard Williams has far more of an impact on the field on every down. Beasley is very bad at stopping the run. Some Falcons fans don't think he will be a good all around player at the next level.

If you’re finding ways to bitch about Leonard Williams, watch more football. Or maybe less, I dunno. Either way you’re just not understanding the game.

This reminds me of when my kid started to play O-line and Nost tackle. I would tell the ex how happy I was with his play and she asked how I could tell if he does not get stats ... you just need to watch him and see if he’s doing his job on the play. Watching him eat up two linemen and still affect the running back is so fun as a parent. It’s sad that so many fans don’t understand the game enough to enjoy watching a very good lineman work ... thanks sports center ...

A day late to the conversation. Wish o could be like the internet police who never miss the sarcasm. Thankfully there's always someone with a "Jesus fucking Christ" to point out someone's mistake. Must be nice to never take something the wrong way. Get back to work, I wasn't the only one who missed it.

He may not put up monster sack numbers (within a 3-4 defense on the line) but this kid is a great building block moving forward.

Especially after the loses of Mo Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson and Snacks; Leonard Williams is the perfect leader for our defensive line.

On a side note: I absolutely loved the raw reaction he gave from his living room on draft night once he seen Sam Darnold was our pick. He went ape shit and ran around his living room like an overgrown big kid. I loved it. And I'm sure Sam Darnold himself did as well. Nothing like walking into a locker room, as a rookie; with a leader who believes in you (Leo).
