he looked pissed when they interviewed him that he fell to 10th. Gotta love that fire, and people said he didn't care about football
The most important thing that Rosen needs to learn is to shut up. Everytime he opens his mouth he said something stupid and makes people dislike him. He is constantly trying to prove how smart he is just with opposite result. When he gets to Arizona he needs to shut up and sit, learn and try to earn some respect. I know he is only 21 and still a child and many years from reaching maturity. As a prospect I would have loved Rosen over Darnold and Mayfield. But it is rare to see someone as completely unlikeable as Rosen. Hopefully, he gets over himself and matures before his career is done.
fine for him to say he's motivated but 9 mistakes comment was bonehead and revealing. Shows he's one of those guys where it's always someone else's fault. No introspection like "hey, maybe I do rub people the wrong way; and that has a price" issue with him is will he rally the troops. 2 minute drill and a guy drops a pass; does that yield an eye roll, or does it yield a more constructive response
He cares about money and has said so and the difference between number 1 and number 10 is about 15 million bucks or 50%.
He would say that, part of his personality. Needs to learn to be humble, so happy we didn’t make the mistake of him over Darnold.
it's not that much at all year 1 is about 6 mil compared to 4 mil according to spotrac. even if the 2 mil difference hols up that's an 8 mil difference not a 15 mil difference. the really money is to be made on the 2nd contract anyway. The 5th year option is the same for any 1st rounder pretty much since it's an average of current salaries. after that he stands to make over 30 mil a year just for being good
We also better hope Allen doesn't turn out to be the real deal otherwise that could be a problem twice a year.
looks like you are right on that front. the 5th year thugh would be the same and the 6th year should net a good one 30mil a season so 15mil in hindsight is a small difference when they will be making double that per year
One trade mark that IMO is consistent across the great ones, Brady, Rodgers, Montana, Drew, Marino, Aikman, and the like is that they keep their mouths shut off the field and do the talking on the field. Please let us not anoint him as the next Rodgers quite yet.
You keep saying that but who cares what division they're in? There are only 16 games in a season and I want to see competitive football on Sundays. The only team you should be concerned about is the Jets. A division matchup between Rosen vs Darnold or Darnold vs Mayfield would be very exciting to watch twice a year.
Because I don't want to see players I like in shitty unis. And I look at the entire nfl as a scope. It's never just about the Jets. You'll get enough competitive football with Darnold vs Josh Allen twice a year and other matchups. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
It's always about the Jets since that's your team. What does that mean you look at the entire NFL as a scope? You would rather the rest of the division be awful so we can beat up on them for 6 games? That's entertaining?
Meanwhile he's getting universally trashed for this and went into damage control saying it's just 3 teams that took QBs. Doesn't sound like swag, sounds like a douche who's panties were twisted by being the last of the big 4 taken. NY media would eat him up IMO Darnold at his pressed talks about becoming the best while Rosen talks about being the best
Look, I believe Rosen was the best QB in the draft. But I am concerned about his multiple concussions that are documented. Since he has had at least two concussions, he is more prone to get more. Also keep in mind the NFL has bigger faster players which also raises his risk. I hope you are right and Rosen has a great career without much injury.
