Well he's coaching for his job, so he better keep it up. I think the only way he doesn't get replaced is if they win a series.

But conservative isn't going to win him a job. Well I hope the games tonight are as exciting as the first one.

This could be the game that costs Westbrook his reputation. In that first half he "shut down" Rubio as he promised he would, and as a result he has four fouls, Rubio is a +12 because of all of the wide open lanes Westbrook has left, and Utah is winning by 11. He's been completely selfish the entire game.

yeah but sadly for him he was celebrating like he won the championship. This was game 5 of the first round

Finding it hard to see how the Cavs get out of the East

Gotta feeling the Celtics pull through and close it out.

Biggest take away from this series is Kris Middleton. I knew he was a scorer, but my god. Take away his hail mary 3 game 1, and he still has a bag of just insane shots he has made this series... Plays solid D, lengthy. He has to be one of the top 5 players in the playoffs right now offensively.

May just be for a round, but he is playing at an all star level.

He's developed into a really good number 2 option for Milwaukee. In the last calendar year especially he's stepped his game up.

I think you're right though. I have a feeling Boston ends it tonight. Hope we're wrong..

Great game last night @OKC. A stunning comeback done with Carmelo Anthony on the bench for the most part. George and Westbrook played the entire 2nd half.

Somehow they both have to muster the same energy two nights later and as Donovan said get their legs back underneath them after a relatively short rest going on the road.

Okc is a much better team without Mello. Hopefully PG stays, and Mello gets released.

Haha, a bench role is "out of the question" for melo.

Sadly for him, so is being a starter on a good team.

His decision to opt out will be determined by whether he is stupid or delusional. Stupid to walk away from $28 mil he won’t get elsewhere or delusional to think any other team would start him.

OKC would love to convince him there is a team out there he can start for to convince him to opt out.

This Philly team is interesting. I think they will beat Boston and then either LeBron or the Raptors. It's probably in LeBron's sanity interest not to make the Finals this year. He said it last year he'd rather not make the Finals than lose in the Finals. Otherwise he's on the path to one-up Jerry West as the greatest Finals loser.

Kevin Love used to be a beast on offense. What the hell happened?!? It's like his feet are cemented to the ground in the corner 3pt line. he just catches and jacks up 3s now. WTF.

Pump fake maybe?? or something called "dribbling" kevin? How about you cement yourself closer to the hoop even for once

Yeah, I've wondered about that too - he used to be a top-level stretch forward for Minnesota, but he's become less and less effective in his years in Cleveland. The easy answer is injuries, but I wonder if being on a team where one player dominates every aspect of the team, both on and off the court, gets in a player's head and makes them just defer as a default, even in doing a little isolation or dribble drives?
