If not, then Mac should be fired after the draft.

    This coming (maybe not terrible):

    1. Darnold - Cleveland
    2. Rosen - Giants
    3. Barkley - Colts
    4. Allen - Buffalo (via trade)
    5. Mayfield - Broncos
    6. Chubb - Jets

With Giants losing out on Andrew Norwell, anyone think they'll be big on Nelson now? Are they willing to trade back from 2 to 6 to allow the Jets to grab a/the top QB (maybe Barkley goes #1)?

That would be terrible. We didn't get Cousins. The Jets need to be on the phone with Indy right now.

Good point. I know everyone says the Giants and Jets would never trade like this, but it would be helpful for both organizations. At #2 we would be able to get either Mayfield or Darnold, so I would be happy with it.

Agreed, can't let the Bills leap frog us and get a FQB before we do.

Exactly. The Bills can throw a whole wrench in this thing if they get to Indy before we do.

Why couldn’t we just fucking go 0-16 like we were supposed to?

Josh McCown was 2-20 in his last 22 starts before this year. He really had to storm out of the gate 3-2 with this garbage roster?

    Come on.

The Jets have started hot with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh McCown both having career years.

But Todd Bowles does not know offense and can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

    Right...

It’s a miracle the offense has looked competent twice in three years with the QB situations he’s been handed

I would be on the phone with the Browns right now to get that #1 pick. Can we give them our #6 and like $40 million in cap space?

I would trade the whole team at this point. The only people I wouldn't let walk out is Maye, Adams and Williams. I would tell Cleveland they can pick whoever they like.

I don't think we have to move up to #1 overall. If the Jets can get to 3rd overall, that will be more than early enough.

I am on board with you and many others though. I prefer Mayfield.

Yea we wouldn't need to, but that would be the only way to ensure we get the player we want, not the QB that falls to us.

I am also not sold on the fact that the Browns actually are looking to trade out of that spot. If someone overwhelms them, yeah they might consider it, but I don't see the Jets coming in with an offer like that. More realistically, Jets part with one of their 2nd rounders and change to move up from 6th to 3rd.

Depression will really kick in though if they trade up to 3 for Josh Allen.

I do think they will trade out of 3. I think they take barkley and will sit on a qb like allen.

I could see Browns taking Barkley #1 as well. I also see Giants trading back with Bills so they can take Darnold or Rosen. At that point, Jets should hop up to 3 with Colts to take Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield.

I think the jets will move up. I think it'll probably happen before draft day. They dont have much choice at this point. They cant hitch the future on Bridgewater, who before even getting hurt, wasnt overly impressive anyway
