Well they've have been to the finals 3 years in a row so "not many wins" isn't entirely true.

I don't think they are giving up, I actually think they got better today all said and done. I.T. was a bad fit with that team and they got some defenders. Solid chance they end up back in the finals again.

And I think any organization who lets LeBron James walk without busting their asses to sign him is retarded. But Cleveland of all places, especially. They hit the lottery with LeBron. They'll be just another hopeless losing small market team like Sacramento or something when he leaves. Plus like I said -- the fans in that city would NEVER forgive Gilbert

Gilbert has money in the bank for getting LeBron back and winning when he was here

Hard to imagine the Celtics getting to EFC again this year.

Their offense is lacking overall... missing a 20PPG scorer

wow, how f'n bad and pathetic are the Knicks - from the coach all the way down to the towel boy. Nilikina is such a sad sack, the team can't keep up for more than half a game at most. Hornacek sucks, this guy is doing a great job at the tank job but come April he needs to go

So Dan Gilbert wants to be the Jerry Jones of the NBA. LOL. This clown is in la-la land. When LeBron leaves or retires the Cavs will be a lottery team. Cleveland basketball market without LeBron is dogshit. They will get no prize free agents and he will only have the 1st round picks to meddle with. Good luck Cavs!

Phil Jackson, the gift that keeps on giving. I'm so tired of this franchise, I've been teetering for a long time. The whole joke of the matter is that they let Phil make all the draft picks and then let him go afterwards. Only a joke of a franchise would do that. Horny seems like a horrible coach, although he hasn't had much talent to work with. You can tell by his lack of ability to draw up good time out plays, and to me that's the hallmark of a good coach. He can't do this and seems to be losing the team.

Now the Knicks are paying Noah to sit at home and do nothing. I'm so sick of the same bullshit repeating over and over for 20 years straight. How many times are we going to give out horrible contracts and later buy them out? MSG network is the one think keeping me from canceling my over priced cable. I probably sound bitter, but I'm ready to cancel it all.

you don't need cable for that, plenty of free high definition streams all over the web

googling reddit nba streams is usually a good place to start

Looks like the NBA season starts today.

    That long preseason was brutal.

    Been a long cold winter.

Good time of the year. Hope's springs eternal.... before the Jets fuck up the draft and the Mets crash and burn

There's always the hunt for Moby Linesides and GorillaGator Blue tho.

I could actually see some good ball this year. Like usual, the upsets will probably be few, and far, but still..

I'm actually looking forward to the Thunder/Jazz series more than I am to watch the Spurs get curb stomped by a Warriors team minus their focal player.

It should be an even, close series. I'm looking forward to all the games tbh.

I feel almost the same way I did with Kawhi, although a different personality and slightly faster physical skills.

He's got physical potential that sets him apart from peers at his position, speed that rivals Westbrook when he gets his legs under him, and a defensive instinct that is scary.

    Personal rant:

I was almost spanking myself when I thought Kawhi would come back this year. The team would have been loaded.

Now I'm just hoping they can get a couple of firsts in the next two years as compensation. That dude has gotten the worst advice and followed it like a lemming.

Byz, what do you think about the rumors of Celtics trading for Leonard?

I wouldn’t mind Celtics picking him up for Jaylen Brown and maybe some picks but last I heard it would require Tatum and Brown to acquire Leonard.

Personally I would not make the move if Celtics had to part with Brown,Tatum as well as picks.
