Because of the Cousins and Garrapolo contracts its going to cost near 30M to franchise QBs.

Expect to see more QBs make it to free agency. If Rodgers doesnt sign an extension with GB this offseason he will be traded or hit free agency by 2020 at the latest.

Rodgers will command a 50-55 mil per year contract over the course of 3 years. Packers won't be able to pay it but someone will. Rodgers basically guarantees any team he plays a full season for a 11-5 at worst record

Nah. The Packers will pay Rodgers. No doubt about it. And I will have to pass on Matt Ryan.

Even if they did become available, the Jets MUST fix their QB issues this year. Can't put things off even longer.

No way Rodgers or anybody is getting that kind of money. Not unless the cap goes to $350M and it is never getting that high.

Depends. Browns would have the room for a 50 mil per year contract, and still room to sign other free agents to round out their team. Someone will certainly be willing to pay Rodgers that amount if they had the space.

He is transformative to the highest degree a player can be

Is there a chance, in light of concussion and TV ratings issues, that we will actually see NFL revenues -- and thus the salary cap -- actually decrease in coming years?

Fox just paid 660m a year for the rights to air 11 Thursday night games a year, my guess would be no

$50-55 million? Where are you getting these numbers?

No, Rodgers and Ryan will not be available and will never sniff Free Agency, at least not at this point in their careers. They don't have a completely incompetent owner like Washington has. Snyder is in a class all by himself, still hurting because his man-crush RG3's frail frame, along with how he played the position and refused to change, couldn't withstand the NFL and everyone in Washington tried to tell Snyder it, but he just couldn't resist the temptation.

If Drew Brees refuses to leave for more money I doubt Ryan or Rodgers will either.

Hold on a second, Jake! Times are changing. This Jets team won 5 games last year. Haven't you heard? This team defied the odds and only lost 69% of their games! Nothing slapdick about that...............

There's absolutely NO chance we could get either one of them. This post is a waste of time.

Rodgers for 50 million per or a mediocre QB for 15 million per? The Packers might still be better off with Rodgers.

If we could get Brett Favre, anything is possible but just don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen.
