Not sure where to put this ...so a bills thread will have to do... Multiple reports say a Buffalo Bills offensive player sustained a "very serious" injury and the team is going to have a press conference on Monday about it. I don't wanna get too crazy but I think if it was just an offseason knee injury or something the team wouldn't hold a presser for it. Hate to speculate something like this but Tyrod Taylor took some brutal shots to the head in that playoff game. I hope it's not that
I was wrong about Taylor. Schefter is reporting that its Bills Center Eric Wood and its a career ending neck injury
didn't miss a single snap all year. diagnosed with a severe neck injury after the season and can't play ever again. I get it, he's tough, probably didn't volunteer for any extra medical analysis but it still makes you wonder about how well these trainers are keeping an eye on their players during the year
Anyone think they grabbed the janitor, threw a white lab coat on him and told him to tell anyone that asked, his name is Dr,Cappuccino?
They had the press conference today for Wood's retirement. What a piece of shit organization Buffalo is. Woods retirement is not yet official because There is a dispute between the Bills and Wood. They are trying to recouperate some of the bonus money they signed with him last offseason. Guy plays 9 years for you, wrecks his neck so he can't play again and you go after him for money. Fuckin bills
When the Patriots RB Robert Edwards blew out his knee in the Pro Bowl, Kraft paid him even though he didn't have to. Kraft was also there for Tedy Bruschi after his stroke. Say what you want about Kraft, when it comes to his players he does support them.
Its amazing how low your hate like others on this board can go. The real reason Bruschi and many other young people like my dad have a stroke is usually due to a heart defect. In the case of my father it was from having rheumatic fever as a kid. In the case of Bruschi it was a patent foramen ovale (PFO) a congenital heart defect. But what the fuck, make up shit as you go about the Pats like every other Patriot hater. Sorry I don't find your post funny!
I'm not making anything up. Rumors about Bruschi being juiced up were around for years and quite prevalent during the beginning of the BB/Brady era. With his heart issue, pumping that shit into his body (allegedly) would have been a terrible idea. i am by no means the first person to make the above claim that his stroke was set off by PED use. On a side note I hope your father was able to make a full recovery.
