  2. I thought marijuana was decriminalized in NJ??Anything under an ounce is a misdemeanor. How many candies could he have possibly had??

My only memory of this guy playing for the Jets was getting torched by Tyreek Hill...

    Edit** here is the video.
lol that was an epic face planting after getting burned.

Mac hasn't been bad at trades but this was an abysmal trade... and I said it at the time too. 5th round picks have value in the NFL and he just threw this one away, and to top it all off it was our higher 5th.

The police said his car smelled like marijuana. Perhaps he smoked, then got the munchies and had a Peanut Budda Buddah sandwich.

  11. Some edibles have a very strong scent that is undeniable in enclosed places like a car. However they usually aren’t peanut butter based cause peanut butter works quite nicely at concealing all sorts of scents.

So perhaps the smoke followed by munchie theory holds validity

A bar of PBB has 100mg THC if recreational, 200mg if medical, would take about 28 bars of the 100mg to equal the THC in an ounce of weed, estimated. If it was the medical grade then 14 bars.
The big issue was probably that he was driving under the influence

I don't believe weed is decriminalized in NJ yet. I assume that will change soon with Christie leaving and the new governor coming in saying he will outright legalize it. That obviously doesn't protect players from NFL policy on it though.

  15. Yeah Christie is extremely outspoken on the issue..forgot about that.Makes sense that it hasn’t been decriminalized yet.

If the Jets gave up a 6th or 7th it would've been fine. The trade didn't make any sense. He was awful in San Fran. They were probably going to cut him then or after the season. The Jets could've gotten him then. The Jets knew his history going in Bad trade and move. Jon Lynch seems to know what he is doing. The Triblisky trade with the Bears, the Grapolopo trade and this one. He keeps fleecing people and winning. Wish we hired him. Only the Jets.

5th round pick down the tubes for Macc as he thought he would somehow be able to turn this guy around.

Initially, I figured it would be a pretty good pick up given his upside and his play, minus the penalties.

Seems to me though that this guy has troubles that exceed the football field.

Macc got screwed on this and could have picked up a rotational, special team type player with a 5th round pick.
