    Saturday
    4:35 ESPN/ABC: KC/TEN
    8:15 NBC: LAR/ATL

    Sunday
    1:00 CBS: JAX/BUF
    4:40 FOX: NO/CAR

    Predictions (aka, the "home sweep"):
KC 24-21 (though if they choked it wouldn't shock me)
LA 34-28 (not 100% sure about them either)

    Jax 31-17
    NO 31-21

Also, lol @ ESPN once again getting the shittiest game of the weekend. Not as bad as last year's Raiders/Texans horror show, but I wonder if that's what they thought they were getting for $100M/game.

2 big plays by the chiefs. Alex Smith reminds me of Cousins.

Alex Smith is such a polarizing QB. So many people think he's a mediocre game manager, while others think he's a super efficient QB. I side towards him being super efficient.

KC has just built their team so well. Solid QB play, elite TE, playmaking WR and RB. Defense is good. Hard to hate them.

KC showing why of all the games this weekend why this is the one that was most one sided in picking the winner.

If the Chiefs do explore trading him this off-season, I hope Mac does his due diligence and talks to the Chiefs.

I think with him, a beefed up o-line, and a pass rusher, the Jets would be playoff bound.

I think Alex Smith is a better QB than Cousins.
His slow start to his career made a lot of people make up their mind about him before he hit his stride. His last year or 2 in SF and the entire time in KC he has been damn good.

How about Mariota, he seems to have peaked in his development.

Mariota really isn't what he was advertised when he came out of draft a few years ago. That was a brutal INT. Sanchezesque.

I haven't followed him much. He actually had a rough year, throwing 13 TDs and 15 INTs. Tennessee definitely didn't get here because of offense. Passing game wasn't great. Rushing game was average. I'm not a big fan of Mariota's supporting cast so I don't want to judge too harshly.

Actually, look at Tennessee's stats, they were a very mediocre team this year. How did they finish with 9 wins?

Mariotta had a real good year in 2016.
He is not ever going to considered elite, but will be a solid starter in this league for a long time.
