I was reading the article like...

Jimmy Garoppolo is my new favorite non-Jets QB. I wish him nothing but success in the future.

"For the past 18 years, the three of us have enjoyed a very good and productive working relationship. In recent days, there have been multiple media reports that have speculated theories that are unsubstantiated, highly exaggerated or flat out inaccurate. The three of us share a common goal. We look forward to the enormous challenge of competing in the postseason and the opportunity to work together in the future, just as we have for the past 18 years. It is unfortunate that there is even a need for us to respond to these fallacies. As our actions have shown, we stand united.

I think its more likey the split if they do. I have been say tom is done after this year or next. He wont be in this league in 3 years. There will. Be a talent exodus from the franchise and he will get one too many hits and hell call it a career. Who can blame him. As much as i hate him, he is the GOAT it cant be argued anymore.

I couldn't disagree more. Its a big issue, and you could see it during the games. TB although playing well, doesnt look like TB. He looks exhausted.

Yes it can. And no he is not. Maybe the Luckiest of All Time, so the LOAT. He has been a solid QB though for the last decade. Overall QB-wise I would take Montana, Manning, and Rodgers over him. I was younger, but I think I would take Marino too. People don't realize how much of a team sport the NFL is. Brady has 5 titles because of his coach, the system, cheating, Seahawks/Falcons blowing it, etc. I put him ahead of Favre because I think Brady makes less mistakes and makes smarter decisions though. Now you have to factor in longevity for Brady too. That is more impressive to me than his titles. All 5.

It really can't be argues. Rogers will never sniff as many championships, manning has never been great in big games, and montana was on stacked teams. Not to. Short change any of them, but none of them are doing what he's doing. Rodges will not be in the league when hes 40, and to do what hes doing at his age, its not even close.

I know you have the green tinted googles on, but come on, he absolutely is the best QB of all time. Its like saying Goku isnt the greatest saiyan of all time vegeta is.

    Your recollection is wrong.

Belichick was under contract to succeed Parcells and Parcells stepped down before Belichick agreed to anything with New England.

I remember it and that's how it's remembered by the sources too:

How much of all of this is truly believable?

It all has basis in fact. The specifics we don't know, but Belichick did try to kick Brady's "friend" out of the facility and now has various restrictions on what the guy can do.

We also know Belichick thinks very highly of Garoppolo and wanted to keep him. Why else do you think he's stuck around this long?

Brady does not want to retire and that caused NE a problem.

If Belichick had his druthers, he would've convinced Brady to retire or traded him, but it's a very hard sell to trade Brady because of his status after the Super Bowls.
