Mayfield is going to be a very polarizing draft pick similar to how Watson and Manziel were evaluated. Obviously his production is tremendous, but it’s hard to decipher how much credit he deserves the production. His numbers look great today, but have you seen him make any “wow” throws? It’s mostly Oklahoma’s running and screen game that are dominating. In fact even in a substandard outing Darnold put about a dozen NFL throws on tape. It’s obvious that Lincoln Riley has a tremendous scheme that his team has mastered to perfection, because Georgia looks totally lost out there.
Hmmm..good point I think SD stays in school and learns how not to create turnovers..that's bad and negates a lot of his talent...I really like him but he was exposed a bit after playing a tough team like OSU Btw Mayfield took apart OSU like he's doing tonight against I Hate the State Georgia.(lol lived there and it was awful) ..impressive
I think he's made some some clutch and wow throws...3rd and long etc..are we watching the same game?..hits his TE wide receivers ..kids got good potential and a Heisman...nice resume to me Build a dink and dunk show for him in NFL ..Wilson and Brees live there don't they?
Great play by Baker. I love watching the kid play, but still think he’s not an NFL player. Pat Mahomes beat him out at TTech and Mac passed on him.
