Here is the excerpt from Jets website

    http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...to-Focus/97506ed3-dad1-4347-b871-b564317784dc

Here is quick look at the Jets' 2018 opponents, with 2017 overall and applicable home/road records in parentheses and asterisks denoting playoff teams:

    HOME
*Buffalo (9-7, 3-5): The Jets most complete effort of the season was their 34-21 trouncing of the Bills at MetLife in Week 9.
Miami (6-10, 2-6): In Week 3, the Jets captured their first victory as Robby Anderson[IMG] had 95 yards receiving and a 69-yard touchdown in a 20-3 triumph.
*New England (13-3, 7-1): The Pats have won nine consecutive AFC East titles.
Houston (4-12, 1-7): Rookie Deshaun Watson was off to an electrifying start before undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL.
Indianapolis (4-12, 1-7): The Colts have a top-five draft selection and Andrew Luck is working to get back from a major shoulder injury.
Green Bay (7-9, 3-5): For the first time since 2008, the Packers won’t appear in the postseason.
*Minnesota (13-3, 6-2): February’s Super Bowl could be a home game for the Vikings. Defensive end Everson Griffen has 13 sacks and wideout Adam Thielen has amassed more than 1,200 yards receiving.
Denver (5-11, 1-7): The Broncos, who shut the Jets out 23-0 on Dec. 10, will fly east for a return engagement.

    AWAY
*Buffalo (9-7, 6-2): Bills earned their first playoff berth since 1999 during Sean McDermott’s first season.
Miami (6-10. 4-4): Jets split with the ‘Fins in 2017.
*New England (13-3, 6-2): Green & White played one of the coldest games in their history on New Year’s Eve.
*Jacksonville (10-6, 6-2): When they collided with the future AFC South Champs in Week 4, the Jets rushed for a staggering 256 yards while averaging an impressive eight yards per carry.
*Tennessee (9-7, 6-2): On a three-game slide entering Week 17, the Titans earned a playoff berth with a win over the Jaguars.
Chicago (5-11, 3-5): The Bears can address other areas early in the Draft as QB Mitchell Trubisky showed promise early in his career.
Detroit (9-7, 4-4): Victors in their last two trips to the Motor City, the Jets will bring their talented safety tandem of Jamal Adams[IMG] and Marcus Maye[IMG] to tango with Matt Stafford at Ford Field.
Cleveland (0-16, 0-8): For the third consecutive season, the Jets return to the shores of Lake Erie. Their 17-14 win in Cleveland in Week 5 was the team’s lone road W in 2017.

There are no long trips, just to Florida and the Midwest.

Nah, jets will bring in some one like Hoyer and he will have a career year, half of TGG, will be happy he had a career year with Jets even though jets end up 5-11 and we will draft a defensive player and re-sign JAG who had career year.

830 kickoff is pretty late for those 2. You know the seniors like to be in bed by 7

A little to early to say for sure.
But it does not look tougher to me.

This year we played the NFC South who turned out to be the best division in football with 3 playoff teams.
We played the AFC West who were down, but had to play in Oakland and Denver which are always tough.

Next year we get the NFC North but the 2 tougher games GB and Vikes we get at home.

We played 5 out of division games against teams that made the playoffs, I do not see that in that schedule. 9 out of 16 if you count the Pats and Bills. I do not see that next year.

The non-division away schedule isn't bad at all. They beat the jags this year and neither the Titans nor the Jets looked like an NFL team in thier game this year. The key to their season looks to be, as always, who is at QB and can that QB help them win the tough home games.

A lot of those games are toss ups given a coaching change or key injury. Obviously some will beat us silly, but you never know until the season arrives.
